Jack runs to his position at the second front defense line in front of Vultra City while Max does the same and waits for the Hive Fleet to approach from above.
Commander Tai contacts Cooper and Max tells them their plan.
Commander Tai: Cooper, Max
Jack: What's the plan Commander?
Commander Tai: We're not sure but after we detected a strong wind of electrical energy coming from above the clouds we can say that the Mother is here. Try to defend the City while we evacuate all civilians.
Jack and Max: Yes Sir!
Max: Hey, you think it's planning something?
Jack: Nonsense, the Mother might've been able to communicate with the Reconoids but I don't think it's smart enough to make a plan.
Max: I'm just paranoid that someone might be behind this.
Jack: Calm down Max nothing is capable of giving the Reconoids a little power up.
Max: The Covenant has the technology! Maybe they-
Jack: Hold that thought Max.
Jack cuts Max off and detects something wrong in the clouds.
Jack: Something's not right.... IT'S HERE!
After hearing Jack yell they all ready their weapons, guns hot and rockets strong enough to put a hole in a Thirty Feet and they all start firing at the sky full of Hive Fleet Reconoids.
Sergeant Johnson: FIRE!
Soldiers in Warthogs shooting their turrets at Flyers and trying to shoot down the falling Reconoid drop pod that's full of Runners exiting out of it.
