2. Marriage Proposal

A girl is shown who returns from office tiredly, went towards her room and slumps down on the bed feeling exhausted after working whole day....

Another women in mid age enters her room and sits beside her who automatically keeps her head on her lap who in return start caressing her hair...

(Yes u all guessed correct the girl is our Pihu and middle aged women is her mother Piyali)

"What happened baccha ,you are looking so tired" asked Piyali in concerning manner

"Yes maa , today we doesn't even got time to have proper break , due to the work pressure as it's the end of the month and you know our boss ...he wants everything perfect " Pihu explain tired as she massaged her forhead

"Hmm i know , take rest for sometime and then comes downstairs after freshening up ,your brother is preparing your favourite noodles " as she caressed her daughter hairs

Hearing the word noodles,her mood instantly gets on ..

" Ohhh ,then I am coming right now in 5 minutes " as she gets up from her bed

Piyaali laughs at her instant mood change...but automatically something strikes on her mind

"One more think beta ,after having noodles, just come into my room for sometime, I wants to tell you something important" Piyali tell in serious tone

Sensing the seriousness in her voice she asked " what happened maa anything serious?? Is papa is ok na?? how many time I told papa that this is not the age to take stress ,still he doesn't listen to me "

She complains to her mother angrily...

"Na bachaa nothing happened like that ..your papa is completely ok ,it's not about him and before you ask anything else ,you will know it once you have your snacks, I am not telling anything now " piyali end the discussion here

"Ok baba ,I am not anything now , I am going now " Pihu laughs while shaking her head

(And her mother also leaves from there)

In kitchen room..

A boy is preparing chicken noodles and someone closes his eyes from behind.

( Yes that boy is her brother Shreyansh)

"So you came her finally ,now come on go and have your seat and I am serving you the noodle ,let me no how is it " Shreyansh nudged her as he starts plating the noodles

Pihu pouts

"How come you know that I am standing behind you ...I think you always do cheating " Pihu asked in confusion

"Because you are my princess and I know how you pretty little brain of yours work understand?" Shreyansh laughingly said to his baby sister...

She huffs and taste the noodles ..

"Umhmm it's so delicious bhaiyaa ...you should have become a chef rather than a boring manager " she moaningly said

"I loves cooking that doesn't mean I wants to become chef ..this thing will always to reserved for my family, specially for cute little sis " as he pinches her cheek ...

"One think bhaiyaa, maa told me that she wants to tell me something important,did you know about it" she asked her brother..

She guessed that his brother would know it afterall he is elder to her...

" I think maa wants to talk about her marriage ..it would be better if maa tell about it ...she can make her understand more properly " thought shreyansh in his mind

"No Pihu ...I don't know anything about it ,she doesn't told me ... anyways you ask her " and leaves from there so that she doesn't ask him anymore question..

After sometime..

'Maa may I come inside?' Pihu asked while getting inside

"Yes bacha ,come here " piyali said as she pat on the bed

Piyu- kya baat hai maa ,aap kich batane wali thi mujhe?

"What happened maa?? Now tell me " Pihu asked

" Yess I will tell you but before that you have to listen it entirely then you will say something ok?? "
She held her hand in support..

"Bacha we have seen a proposal for you regarding your marriage... the boy is educated and well mannered even his family...he runs his dad's buisness"

She removes her hand from her clutches ..

"Maa you know na , I am still not ready for this marriage and all then why all this??" She asked her mother

Marriage comes with lots of responsibility and she doesn't know she is still ready for it or not ...

" Acha tell me one thing ? Why you don't want to marry ?? You doing a job , totally independent and your age is also perfect for settlement then what is the reason ... there should be something behind it ??" As she tries to understand her daughter's mind

"Maa , marriage comes with lots of responsibility and I don't know I am still ready for it or not and moreover how come you so sure that boy is good ...you never know someone's mind ..if he is not like papa..if I doesn't able to adjust to their family then what maa" Pihu finally reveals her inner fear

Piyaali Sighs so this is the reason behind her denial....she can understand her because she is also a girl , she had passed her phase ...

"Bacha, there is nothing to fear ... each person is unique in their own way ...I can understand you dear but if you don't meet that person then how can will you know him hmm?? You know we will never want anything bad with you right ??"

" I know maa, you and papa would never want anything bad about me and I trust u both" Pihu says to her mother

Piyali-toh iss baar bhi trust karke dekh ..ek baar mil le use Larke se ..agar tujhe sahi laga woh larka tabhi hum log baat aage leke jayenge..

"Then trust us one more time ...just one time meet him ...if you feel right about him then only we will proceed further...there no pressure in it "

"Ok maa let's meet him tomorrow" Pihu finally says yes to her mother

"Really ? U are sure right?" Piyali happily asked her

"yes maa sure" Pihu nods her head

"Okay but remember final decision will be yours" and hugs her daughter..
