👼 MY ANGEL 👼

She immediately looked away in panic, biting her lip in embarrassment.

Jeremy leaned in and whispered in her ear, “You look pretty in that jumpsuit. All eyes will be on you today, including mine.”

Elsa was speechless for a moment, but then composed herself. “Your words are flattering, Mr. Callahan, but I don't believe them, ”she said, looking at him and pulling her hand away.

Just then, the elevator reached the top floor and the doors opened.

“I don't believe that you don't believe me. Because you, Mrs. Callahan, are blushing,” he said, causing her cheeks to turn red.

She noticed the little smirk on his face and quickly cleared her throat, making circles on the ground with her tippy toes without realizing it.

She kept asking herself what the hell she was doing and why she was acting like this.

“We should go now. The meeting is about to start,” she said, avoiding eye contact.

She wanted to walk out of the elevator, but Jeremy grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him, causing their bodies to crush together.

His face was inches from hers. She tried to run but he pulled her by her waist crushing her into him. She tried to run, again, but he pulled her waist again, crushing her into him harder, and this time locking her into place so she couldn't move.

Her eyes stared into his, which held a tenderness she had never seen before.

With his other hand, he held her cheek and leaned in to kiss her slowly, closing his eyes. Elsa parted her lips with anticipation, waiting to feel his kiss again.

“Mr. Callahan, there you are!”

Elsa jumped and pushed Jeremy away. There was a man standing at the door, looking at them. Elsa lowered her head in embarrassment.

“Hey, Bruno,” Jeremy said, wrapping his hand around Elsa's shoulders.

Elsa raised her head to look at Bruno and noticed he was glaring at her, sneering.

She immediately looked away and decided not to think too much about it.

But that didn't last long, as Bruno decided to address them and ask about her.

“Jeremy, really? Why is she here?” he asked, disappointment evident in his voice.

“Because I brought her here,” Jeremy answered casually.

“Why?” Bruno raised his voice.

“She will be my personal secretary for the day and take minutes for me in the meeting.” Bruno's jaw dropped.

“Have you lost your senses?!” he yelled. “This woman? You want to bring this woman into our meeting with potential partners? Have you forgotten what a sneaky person she is?” His tone revealed his emotions clearly - he did not want Elsa there.

Jeremy didn't want to argue, so he simply said, “She is coming to the meeting, Bruno. That's all I will say.”

Bruno shook his head and frowned at Elsa. “No, I don't agree to that. She is not going to be present in our meeting. You may have forgotten what Gwen is really like, but I haven’t. So, no! For your own good, you better kick her out of this building completely.”
