Anastasia could not believe her eyes at that moment

Anastasia could not believe her eyes at that moment. Was she seeing things? How was this woman standing right in front of her, not Elsa, but Gwen?

"What the fuck is going on here? How are you still alive?" Anastasia questioned in disbelief and confusion. Something was not right. This couldn't be. This woman was supposed to be dead!

"I am not Gwen," Anastasia heard her say as she shook her head.

That voice, Gwen did not even do a good job of making it sound completely different from before.

And her denying the fact that she was Gwen just made Anastasia annoyed. "Oh, don't play with me, little girl. I am not stupid," she warned while pointing a finger at her angrily. Then, with curiosity, she asked, "Who saved you? Why are you not dead?"

Could it be Roman Hernandez? What if he saved Gwen to use her in taking Anastasia down? That theory only made Anastasia angrier.

She expected Gwen to be nervous or worried that Anastasia knew who she was, but just as before, Gwen was not afraid of Anastasia. Never. Which is why she answered her rudely, "How could I die when a woman like you is still alive?"

When Anastasia heard that, she scoffed. "Heh! I see."

Before Anastasia could say anything else, Gwen quickly asked, "Tell me, who is that woman you were talking about? And what is she planning to do to my sister?"

Hearing that, Anastasia smiled cunningly. "I would be more worried about myself if I were you. Because now that I know you are alive, you are not staying alive for long."

Seeing how fearless Gwen still looked, Anastasia decided to mess with her. "Does Elsa know you are alive?" she asked curiously as she forcefully took the glasses off of Gwen's face.

Seeing the look in Gwen's eyes, Anastasia did not need a verbal response. She already knew the answer to that question. "She doesn't, right?" she asked with a happy smile, but Gwen still did not answer.

So, Anastasia started taunting Gwen. "Why, Gwen? Why wouldn't you tell your own sister that you are alive? Is it because you are the reason she almost died before?"

Gwen's eyebrows furrowed, and despite not responding, her body language and facial expression told it all.

"Aah! I hit the nail right on the head, didn't I?... You're afraid. You are scared that if Elsa learns you have been alive this whole time and never once helped her, she will hate you. Isn't it?"

Gwen snapped her eyes at Anastasia and said through gritted teeth, "You don't know what I have been through just to save her."

This made Anastasia smirk as she decided to keep taunting her with the harsh reality. "Really now? How were you planning on saving her when she was supposed to have died two years ago?... Shouldn't your plan to save her from her tumor have ended after she 'died'?"

Gwen, knowing Anastasia was just trying to get a reaction out of her, decided not to engage in the conversation with hopes she would shut up. She wasn't going to explain herself to this woman. What would that do anyway except give Anastasia something to use against her?

But Anastasia wasn't going to back down, not until she found Gwen's weakness. And luckily for her, she knew something about Gwen that nobody else did.

This something was actually what saved Gwen from her wrath.

"Tell me, Gwen. How does it feel to know that your sister is planning on marrying Lui, the man who you loved so much for so long, who only saw you as nothing but a one-night stand and never took you seriously?"

When Gwen heard that, her heart skipped a beat.

She immediately turned defensive. This was a topic she did not want to talk about. Ever. "That is not true, I am not in love with Lui," she quickly denied it.

Her answer only made Anastasia smile mischievously as she looked like a tiger ready to attack her prey. "But you are," Anastasia mused. "Don't deny it now, baby girl. You and I both know that you have always wanted to be with Lui and did everything in your power to get close to him, including going to black-market parties that he attended in hopes of 'running into him'. And when you got pregnant with his baby, you expected Lui to actually claim you as his woman and be with you, but that never happened. Lui never even slept with you again, drunk, or dead sober. And when I learned that, I stopped trying to kill you because you weren't a threat anymore... Wait, you were never a threat at all. You were just a drunken mistake that Lui wasn't going to repeat again."

Anastasia knew how to hit where it hurts, and from the look on Gwen's face, she was hurt by Anastasia's words. Which is exactly what Anastasia wanted. And if there was a chance she could use this to her advantage, she would.

"You only got with Jeremy to prevent Victoria from getting him so you could do that plan on taking the Rowlands down, which you failed but your sister succeeded. Your sister always succeeds in everything you fail, doesn't she? Not just in life, but in men too?" Anastasia continued. "But even during your pursuit of Jeremy, your heart has always been with my son, despite him never giving you any attention or even giving you the little gesture of asking you out on a date.

"But look at what he did for Elsa. He, without hesitation or second thoughts, dates her and asks her to marry him."

Anastasia then laughed mockingly and tauntingly. "Poor Gwen, the man she has loved for so long only saw her as a drunken mistake. But for her twin sister who looks exactly like her except for the color of her eyes, immediately, he wanted to wife her."

She then leaned into Gwen's face as she whispered, "Don't you just hate your sister?... Well, don't you? Isn't Elsa so evil for taking the man you have always wanted but never got?"

While backing away, she added provocatively, "I might just let them get married just to hurt your feelings. Maybe that might cause you to finally see how the moment you died, your sister took everything from you, including the love of your life."
