Oh God.

She has never been more humiliated.

Okay, that's a lie.

A huge lie

But she's never cared as much as she cared right now.

Back in Georgia shed get humiliated all the time, but she never really cared. She would slung through the day and then be fine when she got her much worshiped alone time.

But this time she did care.

For some reason she really liked Alice. And the fact that the girl probably hated her guts cut deeper than she'd intisipated.

She got to her next class.

Algebra .

Yay.

That was sarcasm.

She sighed as she entered the almost empty room. Only a few students inside. She walked up to who she presumed was the teacher

"Urm. Hi. Im-"

"Viloet Andrews" She nodded her head at the teachers rude interruption.

He smiled at her

"Well I look forward to seeing your brilliant mind Miss Andrews. Iv taken it upon-"

Death.

"-myself to-"

Family.

"-look into your-"

They were close.

"-old school records-"

Perhaps a sibling?

"You are very impressive."

His sister

Violet tried to snap out of his pain and respond but was having difficulty. He really missed them.

"Y-yeah" she stuttered out. it was all she could. He nodded seemingly to start to notice the girls shy nature. And she didnt miss his eyes going down her outfit and seeing her gloves.

"Great, you can sit in the back. On the right please." She nodded and quietly and quickly turned and walked away towards the back.

When she sat in her seat she noticed that no one occupied the seat next to her. She was relieved. She still had a while till class started so she decided to pull out her favorite book. A comic book.

She loved comics, badass superheroes were her thing. Perhaps her fascination came from the fact that she herself had a superpower.

The worst fucking superpower in all of history.

But a superpower nonetheless.

I mean really, all she can do is feel others misery. What fucking supervillain is she stopping?

Her eyes traveled across the pages of the comic in interst. She was about to turn the page when she got a feeling g someone was looking at her.

She looked up from the comic when her eyes suddenly connected to the blackness of two eyes

She looked up from the comic when her eyes suddenly connected to the blackness of two eyes. The were staring directly at her with such an intensity that she felt like a small animal caught in a hunters trap.

God it looked like he wanted to rip her God damm head off.

She quickly avoided his eyes and looked back at her comic book.

However she was no longer reading, she now was waiting for class to start and the boy with dark eyes to sit down.

But, as if she was cursed.

Oh wait, she already was.

But as if she was double cursed.

The boy walked towards her, she felt his presence come closer and closer to her. Her body was tense. Very very tense.

Not only because there was a suspected serial killer next to her.

But because there was another human next to her.

She noticed him walk around her and sit down. She however never let her eyes get any sort of look at him. Staying on her book that her gloves hands were holding a little to tightly.

She hoped he didnt notice.

He did.

"Okay class, we have a new student." Viloets eyes widened and snapped up from her book.

Oh no

"Viloet why dont you tell us something about yourself?"

Kill her.

Please.

Kill her.

"U-uh" what the heck was she supposed to say? Almost everything about her were secrets and lies.

"I came from Georgia... a-and um..I play the piano?" She let out loud enough for everyone to hear, however it was very awkward.

She always was when she felt the dark toughing on her heart.

"Thank you Miss Heart" she nodded and quickly looked down and away from him.

It was now halfway through class... the teacher was drowning on about some equations. Viloet had not been paying attention. Her eyes were staring at the floor. Mesmerizing each scoff mark and indent made. It was clear this was an old school. Many students frets walked in and out of this old class.

History itself was being made on the floor every day. And when Viloet shuffled her feet and made her own mark. That was history. That was her.

Violet looked up from the floor and to the clock. Class was coming to an end. Thank the lord. The girl in front of her had lost her mother. Recently too. She was putting up a surprisingly strong performance at acting like she was perfectly fine.

But as always Violet felt the truth.

The boy sitting next to the girl hadn't lost anyone, however he had a secret that he longed to get out. But was forcing himself to keep in. It was eating him up from the inside.

Violet had no idea what the secret was. She wasn't a mind reader. She just knew peoples pain. And that was his.

Soon enough she would know everyone's. Either by being to curious or accidentally.

Her eyes widened.

Wait. A minute.

The boy.

Next to her.

She felt nothing.

Shed sat next to him this whole time and felt nothing? That makes no sense.

He was just like Alice?

How was this happening.

Violet couldn't help the curiosity that wound up in her as she began to turn her head to catch a glance only as soon as she did she heard the bell ring and suddenly he zipped out of his chair and past her, by the time she turned her head all she caught was his back as he exited the room.

Well that was a little odd.
