He was looking at her

He was looking at her. Werido.

She sat in a chair wearing some clothes Alice had givin her. The pixie girl almost too excited to be lending some clothes.

In fact it was quite strange that the clothes fit her so well, seeing as the two where no where near the same frame.

But that was all besides the point.

What really mattered was the amber eyed vampire starring at her from outside in a tree.

Yep. A fucking tree.

Whether he thought she didn't know he was watching from a distance she didn't know. She wasn't a mind reader. That was Edward's thing apparently.

All she knew was she was enjoying a nice bloodbag the doctor had provided her with in a chair, reading a comic, and she felt someone watching her. With a look from the corner of her enhanced eyes she caught him.

The rational part of her told her to be freaked out. But instead she just found herself annoyed.

It had been going on for an entire 30 minutes. 30 minutes!

With an eye roll she slammed the comic shut and threw it in the side table next to her. With her speed she speed to the woods.

Crossing her arms and looking up with a raised brow.

"If your going to stare can you at least do it in the building, this is next level weird. I lived with 1000 year old vampires and you creep me out more kind of werid." She said bluntly. In a blink the ground gave as the force of two feet landed like bricks. Attached was the body of a vampire that always made her confused when she looked at him.

"I apologize for troubling you" he said in that southern accent that tickled her ears. She raised a brow.

"I wouldn't call watching me from a tree troubling me, I'd call it stalking." He looked down, almost as if looking at her made him unable to speak.

"I just....didn't know how to approach you" he had muttered. Violet felt a small smirk rise to her lips.

"Your seriously lacking in the social skills department if this was you solution" she said in amusement. Hearing her tone he looked up at her once again. A pause happened as he did, as if he was breathing her amusement and smirk in. Returning it he smirked slighty aswell.

"Your right" he agreed. She narrowed her eyes on him. The strange vampire.

"Whats your name?" She asked, not missing the darkness that flashed in his eyes as she did.

"Jasper" he answered. She nodded

"Jasper Cullen" she tested out

"Hale" he immediately interrupted.

"Hm" is all she responded with.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Depends, is it creepy?" He smiled at her, taking in her new vampire form. Different, her once pale skin now looked like fine porcelain, her slender figure tall and curved. Her lips a soft pink that matched her cheeks. She was undeniably beautiful, as she had always been to him. Her Beautiful blue eyes though, they were replaced by a rudy red. The knowledge he'd never see those sapphire blue eyes again made him hurt, knowing she had never wanted them too change. She had loved her blue eyes, she once told him it was the only thing she liked.

But what he noticed most was how unapologetically her she was being, just as he remembered her, speaking her mind and teasing you all at once. She didn't flinch when others neared her anymore. She didn't avoid crowds or talking to Bella whenever she wanted.

"Do you like being a vampire?"

Both of her brows raised in surprise, not excepting such a question. In fact with all of her time with the Volturi not once had she been asked that or even stopped to ask her self. She paused for a moment collecting her thoughts.

"Its hard to tell" she said honestly. Jasper gave her a confused look so she continued"I don't really remember what being human was like... so I have nothing to compare it to" she said honestly. Hiding the sadness that came with such a statement. However she never could hide her emotions from him. She just forgot that.

"Surly you must remember some"

"I do, but only my happiest of memories, it's hard to know. But...I...I guess I don't really care, because it's done, and there is nothing I can do to change it. So I might as well not wallow in self pity. I'm a vampire, I drink blood and sparkle in the sunlight (totally out of left felid by the way)" she added. Jasper didn't say anything, not knowing what to say. "Why do you ask" she asked raising a brow. He looked away, she noticed his face was flat, straight, no emotion really. But she could see past it, a sadness.

"Because, you never wanted to be one"

"I didn't?" She asked, she wasn't sure how she became a vampire. She was never told and when she once asked they simply said she had arrived as one.

"I'm sorry, that I wasn't there to stop it" Violet smiled amused

"Apology uneeded Cowboy"

Jasper froze

"What did you just call me?" Violet raised a brow

"Cowboy? What, you sensitive?" She asked chuckling. Jasper slowly smiled, she gave him a look of discomfort "why are you making that face...looking at me like that... I dont like it"

"My apologies ma'am" Violets nose scrunched in dislike

"Oh my lord never again, I'm now permintly 18 no one ever needs to call me that" he smirked. "Oh and, thank you" she said

"For what?" He asked. Her hand raised to hold the dragonfly necklace around her neck.

"The comics, it was you wasn't it, and the necklace" Jaspers eyes followed her hands, seeing the necklace. He knew who it was from, a boy that had made him mad with jealousy. The boy that made her smile so effortlessly. Laugh so easily. Jasper had the ability to feel Violets emotions, and he was able to feel them when she was around him. It was because of that that he admired the kid so much. He was so good for her, even better for her than him. That's why when they found his body in front of Violets Jeep Jasper had been so heartbroken. Why he had noticed the necklace laying on the cement, and why he grabbed it. And why he sent it to her.

"Your welcome" is all he answered. He wondered if she remembered him, she said she remembered her happiest memories, but yet she hadn't mentioned him, and the way she held the necklace with no hint of sadness made him believe she didn't.

Violet sighed and put a hand on her hip, motioning between him and the tree with her other hand.

"Stop, whatever that was, it's weird" Jasper chuckled shaking his head in agreement

"Okay"
