Today was just one of those days. I felt really down and didn't really want to interact with anyone. I knew that if something were said that annoyed me, I would snap. So I decided to watch the race in the hospitality area on one of the TVs.

I got myself a coffee and sat down in one of the comfy chairs that was tucked away in a corner.

Lando was starting in P4 and Daniel in P5. Everyone's hoping for a double podium today, that would be amazing.

"IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!!"

I took a sip from my coffee and focused on the TV. Both of them were off to a good start, pushing themselves up to P3 and P4. This looks like it'll be a good one for the boys and the team.

"Hey!!" I heard a high pitched girly voice beside me.

I let out a quiet sigh and turned my head to see Ava.

"Shouldn't you be watching the race in the garage?" I questioned. "Supporting your boyfriend and all?"

"I was..." she titled her head slightly. "But I didn't understand anything that was going on and I saw you weren't there. So I came to look for you, hoping that we can start that teaching thing"

"You want me to start teaching you F1 stuff while the race is going on?" I looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. Is she serious?

"I mean, it goes on for an hour and there's a TV there so you can keep updated on everything" she shrugged.

I let out a sigh through my nose. "Ok...sit down"

"Yay!!" she cheered. "Ok, what are the basics?"

"That was not a good pit stop" I stated as I watch Lando pull out of the pit lane.

"Why?" Ava questioned looking up from her phone. She'd practically given up on learning everything after 10 minutes of me trying to explain everything. She said that it was too hard to understand and we'll try again another time.

"It was five seconds, they normally aim for two to three seconds" I responded.

"Well five seconds seems pretty good to me" she shrugged. "Five seconds won't kill them"

I rolled my eyes slightly and chose to ignore the comment. I'll come back to that topic when she chooses to learn more.

There were 2 laps remaining. Daniel in P3 and Lando in P2. This looks like a solid race.

I sat in my seat anxiously as the boys completely their last few laps. When they crossed I let out a small squeal of excitement and jumped up from my seat.

"THE MCLAREN BOYS HAVE DONE IT!!! THAT'S A PODIUM FOR BOTH LANDO NORRIS AND DANIEL RICCIARDO HERE AT THE BELGIUM GRAND PRIX"

"What happened?" Ava asked, startled.

"They got a podium," I told her, smiling.

"Oh my god!!" she cheered, jumping up and hugging me.

It took me off guard but I was too happy at this moment to really care.

"A podium means top three right?" she questioned.

I nodded and smiled proudly. "That is correct"

"Guess I learnt something after all," she laughed.

I grabbed my stuff and rushed to the garage, eagerly waiting for them both to arrive back. After a couple minutes, both boys came into the garage and everyone rushed towards them, hugging them.
