Emma watched as at least half of Mystic Falls High mingled throughout Rebekah's house, especially in the backyard where the compelled delivery guys set up the keg. The party was in full swing, even though quite a few of them were still supposed to be in school. However, just like Rebekah, many were eager to say screw it to the curfew and just have fun. She supposed it was a good thing that the curfew wasn't put in place to protect the students.

Growing tired of watching future frat boys doing keg stands, Emma started to head back inside, hoping to find the host of the party. However, as she walked through the halls, her eyes caught sight of the newly arrived pair as they passed through the threshold. For a moment, Emma watched them, wondering what kind of dramatics their presence will bring.

But once Elena walked off, following after the dark haired girl Emma could recognize from the funeral, she stepped towards Stefan. Truth was, she could stand him a little more than she could Elena. So she definitely wasn't going to follow after the Gilbert.

"I see you had no trouble coming in." She announced her presence to him, making Stefan turn around to look at her instead of walking off to find himself something to drink. "Although, I do wish whatever magic is involved would realize a game of pencil darts was sort of an unofficial retraction of an invitation."

Emma spoke in a tone that was more joking than harsh, and it was because of that that Stefan laughed at the comment. "I didn't think that would actually work." He revealed honestly.

"You learn something new every day." Emma shrugged her shoulders, glancing at the door for a moment before turning back to Stefan. "Hopefully your girlfriend doesn't do something stupid that would make me chain her up inside and then uninvite her. I hear it's quite an unpleasant feeling for a vampire."

"Now, that I know you can't do." Stefan pointed out with a pleased smile on his face. He also doubted that Emma had what it took to be able to chain Elena up now that she was a vampire. But his doubt only made Emma's lips spread into a confident smile.

"Don't underestimate me, Stefan." Emma said lightly. "Only stupid people do." She added on with a calm tone, but the threat was clear: Keep Elena in control or you'll realize what I mean.

A chuckle behind her had Emma turning around, the suggestive smile wiping from her face and now replaced with a more genuine one. Stefan couldn't help but observe the change, remembering a time when things used to be like that between himself and Elena. When they were simply happy to see each other and didn't have to worry about some new threat or problem with every new day.

"You decided to come after all." Emma smiled up at the Mikaelson leaning against the door frame, having been there to watch Emma talking with Stefan. And Kol couldn't deny that hearing her threaten someone just made her even more attractive in his opinion.

"Well, you did make some promises that were hard to refuse." He said, pushing away from the door and about to step inside when he was met with an invisible barrier. "Now what poor soul did my sister compel to keep this place guarded."

"Come in, Kol." Emma smirked up at him, laughing lightly at his assumption and the way he shook his head in realization. Of course, he should have known as much. Stepping over the threshold he was soon at her side, arm wrapping around her shoulders just as Stefan spoke up.

"Uh, excuse me." He left Emma and Kol to watch him walk off, following in the direction in which Elena had left before his conversation with Emma.

"Do you think it was you or me that scared him off?" Emma looked up at Kol as she asked jokingly, making him laugh in amusement.

"I am certain it was you, darling. You're quite ferocious when making threats." The Mikaelson said with a smile one his face, one that could be described as a mix of pride and enjoyment. Noticing a random student walking past them, Kol plucked the girl's red cup from her hands. "Keep going. Unless you want my next drink to be you." He said dismissively, turning back to Emma and completely disregarding the stranger again.
