"Go away, Jack," I snap at him for the hundredth time.

Before he can reply, Grayson appears behind him.

"Do what she says," Grayson snarls.

Jack shoves Grayson before walking away.

Grayson looks like he's going to throw something. Or someone.

"Come on, Gray," I murmur, taking his hand and pulling him to the car door, trying to get him in.

He shakes his head and opens the door, sitting down.

I walk around and get into the passenger seat.

As we drive away, Grayson starts to relax.

"You seem quiet," he murmurs after a minute.

"No, I'm not, I'm just thinking," I sigh.

"What happened with Kyle? And Jack?" His voice sounds strained.

"Kyle just wouldn't stop touching me while he was next to me," I breathe, trying to keep my voice even. "Jack wouldn't sit anywhere near me. He didn't touch me."

"Then what's wrong?" Grayson's eyebrows knit together in concern. "Are you upset about—"

"He told me about what was posted. About," I blurt, trailing off.

"I'm sorry," he mumbles. "You shouldn't have found out like that."

"It's fine. I mean—it's not—I'm not—"

"Don't lie to me, Emmy," he murmurs, sliding his hand into mine, squeezing gently. "I know that that wasn't easy for you."

I nod, not trusting my voice not to break.

"Thank you," I whisper, squeezing his hand back.

We sit in silence until we pull up to the front of my house.

"Just so you know," I murmur turning to face him. "No one's going to be here. Devyn is out with Leia. Joslyn is at cheer practice. Rebekah is at volleyball. And I'm pretty sure Aria said she has plans."

"I'll stay for a little while," he replies, getting out. "I doubt my dad is home right now anyways."

"Okay," I nod, following him inside.

I walk inside and set my phone down on the counter and walk to the bathroom.

I lock the door behind me and rest my forehead against it.

I fucking hate Jack.

After a few minutes, I hear Grayson calling me.

"Yeah?" I call back.

"Your phone keeps bussing," he says.

"Can you check it?" I call.

"What's your passcode?" He asks.

"081306," I smile when he goes quiet.

"My birthday?" I hear him mumble.

"Yeah," I bite my lip, still smiling. "Leia's is Devyn's birthday. I thought it would be a good idea."

"Oh," he murmurs again.

After a couple more minutes, I walk back into the living room and sit on the couch next to Grayson.

"Why was my phone bussing?" I ask.

"More shit from Jack and his assholes," Grayson scowls.

"I thought I blocked him," I mutter under my breath.
