We pull up to the airport and I cling tighter to Grayson.

"All right, let's go, Grayson," Devyn sighs as he gets out of the car.

I get out of the car and watch as Grayson stands up.

Leia gets out and walks over to Devyn. He wraps his arms around her and lifts her off the ground.

I look up at Grayson as tears prick at my eyes.

"Aw, baby, please don't cry," he whispers, scooping me into his arms.

"I'm not," I swallow and rub my eyes.

"You'll be okay," he kisses my head before reaching into his pocket. "Here's my keys. I told my dad that you might be staying over there. He only has work for a couple of days so you shouldn't have to be alone for too long. Text me if you need anything. Or call me. Either way. There's bubblegum ice cream in the freezer for you."

God, he spoils me too much.

"I love you," I sniff. "I don't deserve you."

"You deserve more," he buries his face in my hair.

"No, I really don't," I whisper, fighting back tears.

I look over and see Devyn waiting. He's standing with his arms around Leia, and he grins at me when he sees me looking.

He walks over to us and Grayson looks at him.

"Can I say bye to my sister?" He arches his eyebrow.

"You'll see her next week," Grayson grumbles.

"So will you," Devyn points out.

Grayson huffs and walks over to Leia.

"Bye, Ems," Devyn says, wrapping his arms around me.

"Bye, dork," I roll my eyes, fighting a smile.

"Look at me," he says, suddenly serious. "If your bitchy ex-boyfriend tries to touch you again, beat his ass."

"I can't beat anyone's ass," I frown.

"That's probably true," he smiles, ruffling my hair.

"Stop," I shove his hand away playfully.

"Go give your boyfriend another kiss. We have to go," he laughs.

I run over to Grayson and throw my arms around him.

"I love you," I kiss him.

"I love you, too, Emmy," he breathes, rubbing the back of my neck.

I look up at him and he tucks a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Take pictures for me, okay?" I bite my lip to keep from crying.

"I will, baby. And I'll call you every night," he rests his forehead against mine and I intertwine my fingers with his.

"Grayson, we have to go," Devyn says, but he doesn't sound impatient like he's been with us. He sounds understanding.

"Mm," Grayson hums.

He kisses me again before following Devyn through the airport doors.

"He'll be back, Em" Leia says softly, wrapping her arm around my shoulders.

"I know," I nod, wiping my eyes.

We get back in the car and Leia starts driving.

"What's wrong?" I murmur, noticing her chewing on her bottom lip.

"Nothing," she sighs, shaking her head.

"Is it about Devyn?" I mumble.

"I—no—I—I don't know," she shrugs.
