Scholarship and Advancement

Next day, I with mom & dad went to Sierra canon school. These private schools are also somewhat a facade. Eg. This school have have pre- kindergarten and for general kid to take admission in pre- school, they have to pass an 'interview' . And if they didn't pass, obviously they will not be admitted but that's not the things.

Firstly, kid hasn't learned anything, his education hasn't started and that why he is here in first place. Secondly; Problem is, they blame that kid isn't bright enough or intelligent enough but on the other hand, Rich kids can easily get admission with little donation every year despite their intelligence and then interview results doesn't matter. More in the story is that if average family is able to give donation by some means, they still don't accept them wholeheartedly.

I mean....come on man.... really, kids don't start learning until they go to preschool but you would take a serious interview about these things. On top of that, interview isn't all about intelligence and knowledge of math, language etc. but also personality and character which they, btw, have full authority to assess and determine if it's suitable and bright enough or not.
So, things are inherently flawed from the bottom itself. But as you know, if you are exceptional genius like me, you can play this system around and extract it for your benefits.

So anyways, I showed my geniuses & maturity, passed the interview and got the admission. After that, I asked them that I would like to take Full scholarship and they can test me for that as per their rules and criterion. Principal was surprised by my active participation to grab opportunity. She asked me to come next day to take test for scholarship and based on results, they would evaluate me if I could get it or not.

After coming out of principal's office.

Claire: How did it go honey?

Me: It went well. And FYI, I talked to principal for Full scholarship and she has arranged for test tomorrow, based on results, they will decide on it.

Phil: Good. You are good.

Claire: Good. Well, shall we go.(started walking) You should prepare well for tomorrow's test.

Me: Don't worry. I've got it all covered.

Claire: Great

After that, we returned to home and I reviewed the whole elementary school material. I didn't need it, as I have got photographic memory and perfect recall but I still did it in good spirit. I have already unlocked 0.8% of Full capacity intelligence.

Next day, I reached school. My test was arranged in principal's office itself. It was 1 hour test which contained Maths, English and some odd questions of common sence and day to day ethics. Maths was at the level of 1st and 2nd grade mostly with some at kindergarten level and few at pre- school level and same was with English.

There were some ' what would you do ' questions as part of day to day ethics to basically assess the personality and inculcated morals of kids. It was VERY easy for me. So, yes, I aced the exam.

Principal: I'm surprised that you scored 100% marks into your maths, English and common sense paper. Remaining one paper is only there for us to know more about child, his personality and his moral values though some of your answers surprised us. You are excellent. You are completely eligible for Full scholarship. Welcome aboard.

Me: Thank you Sir. While we are on the topic, I have something to tell and some help to ask.

Principal: Please, I'm happy to help.

Claire: Honey, what are you going to say. Let's stop. (turning to principal) He is little.... outspoken.... Mr. Principal, please don't mind him. Will, let's go.

Me(turned towards my parents): Mom, dad, trust me I got this.

Me( turned towards principal): Sorry Sir for interruption. Well, it's actually a win-win deal so please hear me out first. I have already studied entire curriculum upto middle school and now studying high school material. My sisters, one is in high school and other is in middle school so I borrowed from them.

My point is, I see no point in studying elementary school or even middle school but I know my parents, you and school management may not agree so I came up with a compromise. You can test me for my knowledge regarding elementary school syllabus and material. If I passed then, you can directly promote me to middle school; if not then, I will obediently take elementary school classes of whichever grade you ask.

Afterall, there is no point in wasting time in learning something which I already know. And if I passed your test, you can publicise the matter that a young genius is studying at your school and I think it will be good for school as well. So what advice do you have, Sir.

(Principal has her mouth open wide) : So, you really are a Genius. First, I thought you are well read but from your description, it is not possible only with Hard work. I like your idea, I will discuss with management and will inform you and arrange accordingly meanwhile you can join the elementary school at kindergarten level. But rest assured, I will make it as quick as possible.

Me: Thank you Sir. Thank you very much.

Principal: If you really passed and passed to our satisfaction, then I will have surprise for you.

Me: Don't worry Sir, it will be up to your satisfaction.

( Meanwhile Phil and Claire was staring at me dumstruck)

It wasn't until we sat inside car that they came to their senses.

Phil: what just happened there!

Me: Nothing, it's just win win situation. You see, I don't want to waste my time in elementary school or even middle school for that matter. But if I ask for jump all the way into High school at the age of 5 then it's not possible but I can convince them to test me for elementary school level and passed, they can let me jump into middle school directly. And when it will happen, they can advertise about 5 yr old genius studying in their school to earn reputation and hefty donations. We both are happy. That's what happened.

Claire: Honey, we know that you are smart but can you pass the test?? I'm not questioning your capabilities or intelligence but it's just you said you have learnt but we have never tasted. But point is not that sweetheart, you are just 5, how would fit into bunch of middle schoolars who are 13-14 years old. What if they bully you? and school isn't only about education, you learn social skills there too.

Me: Mom, you see my height, I'm 114cm already. I'm larger and stronger than my peers thanks to your care. Besides, I can deal with them, What can bunch of dumb ass people do to genius like me. They will only praise and admire me when they get to know me.

Claire: let's go home, I will ask Alex to test you for elementary school knowledge and we will see how it goes.

Me: fine with me. FYI, Alex asks me if she has any doubts in her studies.

We reached home and Claire told everyone what happened today alongwith I asked to jump directly into middle school skipping elementary school. Everyone was very surprised by my decision. At night, Grandpa Jay came to home to talk to me. We had family dinner and jumped right into discussion.
