Scene: Dunphy household

Jay : So you just spring it on Gloria like this? Mitchell, what the hell is wrong with you?

Gloria : I don't want her apologies.

Jay : And who could blame you, honey? Which is why this is a
terrible idea by you!

Gloria : Jay, Manny, let's go.

Dede : Oh, wait, wait, Gloria. I d... I just want to tell you how
sorry I am for ruining your wedding. I was struggling with being alone. Meanwhile, Jay moves on so easily. And... and not with just anyone... with a... young and smart and beautiful woman I don't expect you to forgive me. If I were you, I'd want to punch me right in the mouth.

Gloria : I think we've had enough revenge in this family for one
day.

Mitchell : Oh, okay. Y-y-you see? Yeah, we're all gonna move past
this. And because of me, who... who's not a mama's boy. But is a
caring person with wisdom and emotional insight, So make a note, bitches. Boom po boom boom....oh Will, where is your math that says there going to be the fight haan.....you might be a genius, but you can't be always correct. Ok That's your lesson.

Cameron : That's not a good color on you.

Gloria : I forgive you.

Dede : Oh. Wow. I am not prepared for this. I just... I wa... I want to rip your head off!

Gloria : You ruined my wedding!

Phil : I got Gloria! I got Gloria! I got Gloria.

Mitchell : Stand up like a big girl. Come on.

Me: Mathematics is language of universe and I spoke it. Now who's who.

Jay : All right, all right, all right. Stop it, stop it, stop it, the two of
you!

Haley : I am so sorry about this.

Dylan : No, it's cool. It's cool.

Jay : This is ridiculous. Gloria didn't steal me, Dede, and you
know it. We grew apart for years. And you left to find yourself,
remember?

Dede : I thought I could handle this. I'm so sorry.

Gloria : You don't say "sorry" anymore! That word means nothing in your mouth!

Phil : I got Gloria.

Haley : I don't know what just happened.

Dylan : I do. I mean, it seems pretty simple to me. You're reaching out, trying to hold on to something awesome-

Hayley: Um, maybe... maybe you shouldn't..

Dylan: . . Look, look, look, I'm used to this, The whole big family thing. In my house-

Me: Ho Ho Ho oh. Hold your horses buddy. My sister said you shouldn't so don't.... Okay.  I don't want to be rude but..... you see....this is our family matter.... internal matter. The Least thing we want right now is a lecture on family values and affection by an outsider. So just...relax....we can handle our matter by ourselves.......like a rational family members.....that we ..we all are.

Hayley: Will! This is rude. You should let him speak.

Me: Why should an outsider comment on private family matter. This is unacceptable thing. I said earlier as well that it's our family dinner and we should not invite..... some... someone who is not member of our family....yet? (Hayley was glaring at me)

Phil: Will, it's not cool. Dylan is like our family practically. Dylan, go ahead and say what you wanted.

Dylan: Soory, but we don't even talk to each other in our house. You know, it's funny, the first time I saw Haley, I knew I liked her. I
mean, she's beautiful and everything, But it's... it's not just that. It's that she's got this killer confidence... You know, the kind of confidence that you get from having a family like this, that's
passionate and accepting of hot foreigners and gay dudes and nutty people and outspoken geniuses... You know, a family that actually loves each other.

Claire : I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but maybe we should let her go with him.

Me: Wow dude. Where you stole this line from?

Dylan: No. It's my own heartfelt words.

Me: Okay. I also have my heartfelt words and it's like this- Shut the fuck up.

Claire: Language!

Phil: What's the matter with you Will? Why are you acting like this.

Me: You don't know! We could have invited him tomorrow but No, we have to invite him today at family dinner. You want him to be part of the family and you treat him like that . Studies have shown that more than 97% of relationships in teenage years don't survive more than 1.5-2 years. 78% of these people have some sort of regret in their life due to these relationships and waste of time during their teenage years. All I'm saying that don't place your hope where it's meant to be broken.

Phil : No! It's not always the case. Everyone is different. He's good.

Claire : Everybody, Haley says that Dylan is a musician, and he
writes some great songs.

Me: Great songs. Oh! Really?

Phil : Play something, bro.

Dylan : Well, I guess so, if you want me to.

Phil : We could all use a nice tune right now.

Dylan : This is actually a song I wrote for Haley. It's called "in the moonlight."

Cameron : Lovely title, Dylan.

Dylan : Thanks.

*The stars are falling from the sky and you're the reason why the moon is shining on your face
'cause it finally feels it's found its place 'cause, baby, baby, I just want to do you do you
do you want to do me do me
underneath the moonlight
the moonlight?
baby, baby, maybe I will steal you steal you
just so I can feel you feel you
maybe that would heal you heal you on the inside*

Claire : he's so not going.

Phil : Not a chance in hell.

Me: That's it. It's your great song. I will show you what a good song sounds like -

I took my love, I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills
'Til the landslide brought me down

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too

Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too
Oh! I'm getting older too

Oh-oh, take my love, take it down
Oh-oh, climb a mountain and you turn around
And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills
Well, the landslide bring it down
And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills
Well, the landslide bring it down
Oh-ohh, the landslide bring it down

Everyone started crying.

Claire (sobbing) : what wa...what was... what was it.

Me: It's song about change. Everything is changing. People get older and sometimes changes can be painful. It's my philosophical question to myself that if such undesirable changes comes into our life....my life, can I Sail through it? Can I reach my destination? When you see around the world and think deeper, sometimes you get these kind of thoughts. So I wrote it. It's about our family.

Phil: Buddy, Why are you thinking like that.

Me: I'm not thinking like that. I just thought about it, it came into my mind suddenly. I'm observer, i observe things. I'm Genius so my brain runs pretty fast. It's not like I'm thinking about it all the time. I have much work to do, I can't always think about these things Okay. It's no big deal.

Jay: Thank god. I thought you are talking about me.

Me: It is. You are getting old Please look after your health, Grandpa.
