a few days later:

I stood nonchalantly in the courtyard after breakfast, waiting for Eren or someone of the likes to start a conversation or at least arrive.

The air seemed empty, as if something was slightly off. I inhaled sharply and folded my arms, bracing myself from the breeze.

I looked towards the tall entrance and saw him. Reiner. Again.

I turned around and began walking the other way slowly, I was not in the mood for anymore snarky comments from anyone, especially not him.

I slowly picked up speed, not daring to look back for even a second. My breath faltered, the sky spun around me-

My collar had been grabbed and I was dragged onto the floor; immobilised by the sheer force he put into his attack. I lay in agony as he landed at least 3 punches on my face. I felt dizziness overcome me.

Shit.

I felt my arms loosen and my body become limp he kicked my shin a few times before withdrawing. My eyes lolled back and forth, I saw another shadow above me, his shoe was nearing my face and he prepared himself to stamp down,

'This is for embarrassing me in front of everyone. Don't try to touch me again, L/N.'

He grunted and shoved his foot into my face, leaving me barely conscious. He gave me another kick in the stomach and left me there, feeling dead. The thoughts of what the Captain would say crossed my mind and dread filled my insides.

It happened again. Again. Reiner and I fought again, well, he beat me up this time.

so much happened so fast, just as i thought it was getting better here..

My vision shot in and out of focus- my surroundings were barely even visible, I blacked out.

All there was was black. I couldn't tell you how long I was like this, I don't know for sure but it felt like an eternity.

How did Reiner manage to get to me again?

The next thing I knew, my eyes were barely opening, a figure stood over me and I heard a muffled but calm and familiar voice, my body was still across the cold stone floor but I listened carefully with any strength I had.

'Y/N, hey, Y/N?' The voice whispered lowly to me,

I felt a hand stroke the top of my hair gently, I could barely make out the figure,

Was it the captain? Surely not?

I felt another presence across the room and the hand across my hair instantly withdrew. I couldn't move, I felt paralysed from the aching pain across my body,

Reiner must have been pissed to have done this much damage...

'Sir? Is that Y/N?' It was Eren, he rushed over to the other side of me, he looked up at Levi in horror,

'I'll take her to the Med Bay, Captain.' Eren said hurriedly,

'Alright, go quickly.' Levi brought himself to his feet and Eren picked me up gently in bridal style, the Captain's jaw tensed slightly and Eren continued hurriedly out of the courtyard,

He arrived at the Med Bay and the usually lovely Nurse was no where to be found? He burst in and it was completely empty. He questioned himself over and over and then realised that everyone from there had gone,
