A person who derives enjoyment
From attracting an audience;
It matters more to him than anything,
Even the very quality of his writing;
By receiving praise,
His ego's over-inflated.
What is wrong with him?
He won't rest until he becomes
The most famous person in the world,
And won't even listen to his loved ones
When told talent is worth more than fame.
He's so consumed by the idea
That popularity is equated with his worth
And won't even bother listening to reason
Because he is too closed-minded.
