"Hey Taeyong, I need to talk to you," one of my managers calls, beckoning me over to the door and leading me outside of the practice room.
"What's up?" I query, taking a seat in his office, although I have a feeling I know what this is all about.
"So, you must have heard about the news from Dispatch by now," he begins, turning on a laptop and clicking around on it.
I consider denying this, but then remember that Chaemin is perfectly fine with the fandom knowing about us and is probably laughing at the haters right now.
"Yeah, I've heard about it," I admit, shrugging casually.
"So... you're not concerned about your safety at all?" he asks, tilting his head to the side in confusion.
"No, not really. I mean, half of the fandom is literally looking for hate comments just so they can shut them down," I respond.
"So your suggestion on this situation is?" he prompts.
"Um... we confirm it, I guess," I reply.
"Well, okay, I'll talk to the company about it then..." he trails off, slightly bewildered by my relaxed response.
"Alright, am I dismissed?" I ask, sliding back my chair and standing up.
"Yeah, you can go back now," he dismisses me. I exit the room and return to the practice room, completely unbothered.
Strolling through the hallways, I think about what everything would be like if Chaemin was actually influenced by the haters. Yeah, life would be much harder and more complicated.
Exactly why I love her.

"So, Taeyong, you're actually okay with us confirming your relationship just like this?" manager nim clarifies as we're in the car on the way back from practice.
"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine with it. As a matter of fact, I'd really like it to be confirmed so that people know that I'm taken and they won't have to come up with theories on why we haven't said anything," I reply.
"So... you don't want us to deny anything?" he presses.
"No, I don't like lying to our Czennies, and there's nothing worth denying here. Can we please just say something about it as soon as possible?" I ask.
"Alright, the company will say something tonight," he agrees. I guess he's just trying to protect me, even though I'm not that worried about this whole thing.
I'm actually surprised by how relaxed I am about this whole situation. Why am I not anxious about it at all? Guess Chaemin's confidence is really getting to me. Huh.
