Percy's POV

So everything in Gryffindor is red and gold. Nice. I'd rather blue but I'm obviously not Ravenclaw so...

Yep. Living the dream.

When I woke up the next morning, Harry was already awake, failing in his attempt to wake up Ron. I chuckled under my breath and said, "Let me help."

Harry looked at me seeing where I was going with this. He smiled evilly and I did too. I got a little water and...

SPLASH!!!

Ron was drenched and Harry and I had almost laughed our podexes off.

The sad thing?

Ron still tried to go back to sleep. I finally just rolled my eyes, picked him up, and carried him out the door. I laid him down on the couch in the Common Room.

Now keep in mind that he is in his pajamas, so people were laughing pretty hard when they saw him.

At last, Ron woke up. He looked around in a daze and took cognizance of his attire. He squealed, and bolted up the stairs.

Harry and I were rolling on the floor.

When Ron came down, Hermione joined us on our quest to the Great Hall.

I still don't get the name.

It's not even a hall.

But it is great.

But it's still not a hall.

Not even close.

More like a room.

So Great Room would make more sense.

But sound a lot stupider.

Then again, anyone with sense can see that a ROOM is not a HALL. Whomever named it needs a crash course with Annabeth.

Big time.

Sorry, off track again.

So we made it to the "Great Hall" when I noticed all the people staring at me.

"Why are they staring? Is there something on my face or what?"

Harry and Ron looked at me incredulously.

"Bloody hell, you're denser than I am."

Increased my brow and mouthed "what", but the trio had moved forward.

I sat down and started eating. Our head-of-house-that's-not-really-a-house was passing out timetables.

Not actually passing out.

That would be real bad. (Apollo haiku anyone?)

I got mine to see I had the same classes as Harry and Ron, and most with Hermione.

Great so they can show me the way.

ANOTHER CLASSY SKIP OF TIME THING. GOTTA HATE EM RIGHT? WELL I LOVE THEM.

We went to our first class which was Divination. Harry had said that Hermione quit this class because of the teachers inability to actually predict stuff. I almost laughed, thinking of Rachel. The professor would probably call her a fake.

And she's the Oracle of Delphi!

Anywho, we climbed into the room, which made the Aphrodite cabin smell almost like nothing, and sat down.

Once class started, Professor Trewlawny came inside the room announcing how she knew we would all return safe and well, and that she also knew that Divination would get a new student this year.

Hint hint: me.

Wow. Harry wasn't wrong about this. I don't even want to try defending her.

So yeah that class happened. Then we moved onto potions.

As we were walking down to the dungeons, a voice that made the trio (we met back up with Hermione) tense.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Potty, Weasel, and the mudblood Granger."

At Ron's reaction to that I knew that was a bad thing to say.

I turned and set eyes on a beach-blonde haired boy with green robes.

This must be who Ron warned me about.

The boy looked at me and raised an eyebrow.

"You could do so much better than this lot. I'd be happy to help. The name's Malfoy. Draco Malfoy."

I decided to play his game too.

"The name's Jackson. Percy Jackson."

He reached out a hand and as I grabbed hold.... I flipped him.

Like an Annabeth kind of judo-flip.

He landed with a thud.

As I turned around I heard him get up, grab what I assumed was his wand, and exclaimed,

"TARANTALLEGRA!"

I knew what I had to do. I dodged the spell and sent "Pertrificus Totalis" at him. He froze up and I said a transfiguration spell to keep any check from working on my wand. I left him there as the trio and I entered the class room.

I had never been so happy to see someone be put in their place.

Hey guys! So i had promised to get an update out there soon and here it is. I had a lot of people ask for a duel, or DADA fighting, but with Umbridge, I thought potions time or the hall works better.

TRUST ME WHEN I SAY STAY TUNED FOR NEXT UPDATE!!!

I'm going to have an actual duel in potions class between Percy and Snape.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave comments on how it should go and (Percy is winning it ) what spells and all that jazz.

Thank you guys so much for reading this.

Love y'all
