Percy's POV

"Is it too hard to walk a little faster?"

The turtle had been walking slower than thick syrup can dance. It was easy to say I was annoyed.

"Percy........Jackson........you........have.........asked..........that.........question.........so..........many........times....... If.........you........ask.........again.......I'll..........show.........you........how........deadly........rainbow........turtles..........can.........be....."

I almost rolled my eyes. "What, you going to sparkle me to death? Sing the Care Bears theme song?"

"Are........you........kidding.......me?....... Those..........things.........shoot.......lights........out..........of...............their..........stomachs......."

"I know, right! Those fuzz balls of doom are almost worse than Tartarus!"

"I.........can..........agree..............with.........you..........on........that......"

I suddenly liked this turtle even more.

I looked forward. I saw a small light and looked at the turtle.

He did his slow nod.

"Yes.......not.......much.................further....... Soon........the.......readers...........will........understand..........why.........you.......are.......in..........China........ They.......used..........to.......know........nothing.........."

My face creased. "The readers?"

Slowly, imagine how this looks would you, the turtle's face turned into one of shock and fear, like he didn't know he said that. His little turtle mouth was hanging open, and eyes were wide.

I really wanted to laugh.

"Nothing..........I........said.........nothing.........."

I thought back.

He did say nothing.

Oh well.

Sorry this is short. But I was up late last night and my brain has gone poof.
