8 years back: Elina's youth

"Elina you are going to get late again!!!" said Elina's mother Mrs. Charles from downstairs while preparing breakfast getting no response in return she again shouted "Elina get rea-" her words were cut off as she heard a loud thud.

Being a clumsy ass Elina could do nothing but everything very clumsily. And as her mother who already expected how the sound came, came out of the kitchen to witness her daughter lying on the floor near the stairs.

"Oh my God dear you okay" said her father Mr. Charles who had a panicking expression even if this wasn't the first time.

Elina slowly got up and smiled awkwardly "I am fine Dad thanks"

"It is o-" his words trailed off as his wife shut him up in between and started her lecture

"Why are you so clumsy Elina?? Now you're a high school senior-"

"What's going on?" her elder sister Sia said who was coming downstairs while her mother continued again

"Look at your sister how disciplined she is I never had to say anything to her while she was in high school"

"Mom let it be it's okay, let her go or she'll be late for her new school" Sia said and winked towards her sister as she started distracting her mother

"Btw mother you know....."

Elina mouthed a thank you to her and slowly went with her father following her.

"Elina here, have this while going and-" he looked towards his daughter and patted her head "take care and study well"

Elina smiled cheekily at her father "Yes da-" "How dare her go like that without listening I am sure her dad helped her!! Firstly he brought us back to this old place and now-"

"I will get going Dad bye!!!" Elina said and waved towards her dad while Mr Charles sighed and started to go in as he thought about the first day when he told her about him getting transferred back "Now I've got to cool her" he sighed.

"Honey~"

Elina finally reached school but when she was about to go in she saw something weird

"Why the hell, is he kissing a wall?" she said while looking at a boy who was actually trying to climb the school fence even when the gates were opened.

"Oh no- he isn't kissing- but he is climbing the fence even when the gates are open? Weirdo~" she shook her head not wanting to do anything on her first day of school; she ignored him and stepped in.

Time skip

"Okay students!! So, today we have a new student among us, please introduce yourself" Her teacher asked her to introduce herself while she gulped as she tugged her hair behind her ears "Hello everyone myself Elina Charles, I hope we can spend a good year together" she said as she gave a small smile at the end.

"Welcome to Stipanovich High school Elina, myself Mr. Herriot and I'll be your homeroom teacher; you may sit beside um- Jiya. Jiya please raise your hand" he said

As soon as Jiya raised her hand Elina's expressions changed first she squinted her eyes trying to remember her face but then when she did, she widened her eyes in surprise as it was none other than her childhood best friend.

She quickly came near to her bench and asked "Jiz??"

"Excuse me?" the girl asked looking at her confused while Elina gave a smile as she spoke "It is me!! Elina!! Elina Charles!!!" Elina said while at first Jiya tried to remember and then exclaimed "Oh my goodness!! Are you Elina?? That Elina Charles??!!" said Jiya in a happy and excited tone

"Yes I am that Elina!!" Elina said with a huge smile

"Oh my I couldn't even recognize, you became prettier and even taller!!" Jiya exclaimed in awe to which Elina just chuckled and took a seat beside her

While the teacher cleared his throat

"Okay students enough with introduction. So, today we will start with the poem The Spring Flower. Turn to page 52. So, when the first spring....."

During break

"I never thought we will meet again" said Jiya while looking at her old friend whom she never forgot to talk about.

"Me neither!! I missed you so much" said Elina with a pout on her lips.

"Last time you went with your family so suddenly!!!" Jiya said with an upset look.

"I am sorry about it...." Elina apologized

"Let's promise we won't lose contacts the next time even if we are far!!" Jiya said as she forwarded her pinky finger towards Elina

"Promise" and they did their pinky promise.

"Hey Jiya who is she?" Said a voice

Elina Pov

"Hey Jiya who's she?" asked some unknown dude from my back so I turned back to see someone quite familiar and just then Jiya stated.

"Oh!! Ross meet Elina my childhood friend about whom I used to talk about and Elina meet Ross my boyfriend" she introduced him to me but looking at him my mind clicked to something

"Wait you're that fencing guy right?" Ross covered his mouth with his hand

"Oh my goodness did you actually see it?"

I laughed awkwardly "yeah..."

"Actually I was seeing how to climb the fence" he shrugged his shoulders.

While Jiya instantly asked him as if she was reading my mind "But why?"

I was like yeah for real- dude are you sick or something that you wanna climb the fence early morning-

Third person pov

Elina 's thoughts got trailed off as she heard him speak "Actually you know Jason he is always late and comes to school by climbing the fence so I was just wondering how he does....?"

"He is a nuisance and you being more of an idiot" Jiya said as she face palmed.

While Elina looked towards Jiya not knowing whom they are talking about

"He is my friend and also one of our classmate this year" said Ross and shrugged

Okay what is with that look?

"You must be wondering what is with that look" Elina 's eyes became wide open as she couldn't believe that Jiya literally guessed this also and she nodded.

"Actually he's a complete nuisance; he will go on doing all kind of weird stuffs and get detentions. But however he is another greek god of our school, because of his looks." Jiya stated

Another? What does she mean-

Elina shrugged her shoulders and said jokingly "Looks like he is an interesting person"

While Jiya and Ross began making teasing looks and started saying "Woah~"

"Just shut up you both" Elina said as she walked towards the corridor.

"Even if he is a nuisance but I wonder how you both will look together!!! Elina and Jason" Jiya said with Ross and her following Elina and taking names "Elson" they said as they laughed and followed her

Elina started to walk away from them in another direction but unfortunately she slipped and fell on top of someone she felt nothing but a hard body and felt something soft near her lips that's when she realized

"Oh no- It was my first kiss!!!"
