A few days later Chan was going about his shift just as every time.
With the slight difference that he was a tiny bit upset; He wouldn't be seeing Changbin today since his next appointment wouldn't be until Friday and he also didn't have to work today.

Every other day of the week, Chan had either gotten to see Changbin at the gym or on the metro on his way home from work, or both.
Chan still kept on taking daily detours for Changbin so he could meet him then.
But sadly not today.

Chan wondered what the man could be up to on this free day.
Not a second went by when he didn't think about Changbin. Even while instructing his other clients, his mind kept wandering off to his favorite one.
Chan criticized himself for not being focused enough. During his break, he took a few minutes to try to concentrate. He luckily found quiet in the employee lounge.

He was just too curious.
Changbin could probably be working on new songs right now. Chan wondered what lyrics the man's great mind could come up with.
He made a mental note to ask Changbin to listen to some of his raps soon.

Or maybe Changbin was just relaxing today.
His work must still be exhausting so his free day could be a great opportunity to get recharged.

Chan just couldn't get the man out of his head. He sighed and rubbed his hands over his face as he realized again how huge of a crush he had on Changbin.
He felt a bit frustrated about it at first but then couldn't help but smile over the warm feeling that was starting to spread through his body.
Then he even giggled at the sudden thought of trying to get more daring with Changbin; leading him on a bit; trying something new.

Chan knew he had probably fallen for him, now it was time to find out where things would go.
He felt nervous but so excited at the same time. His hands were shivering a bit so he tried to shake the feeling off.

Chan took a final deep breath before heading out again. He still had some time before his next client would come in but he needed to grab some paperwork from the counter.
As he got there, he started to rummage through some files in a drawer when he noticed someone walking up to him.

With a bright smile stood right in front of him, the man that didn't leave his mind all day.
For a split second, Chan even thought his daydreams had turned into hallucinations.
But those sparkling eyes were definitely real.

»You know, I have a lot of free time today, so of course I had to come by«
Changbin looked proud.
»You know you should let your body rest between your appointments«
Chan couldn't help but tease him a bit but he received a heartfelt reply for it.
»I know, I know. I only came to see you«

Chan couldn't hide a bright smile as well.
Only then he noticed how obviously Changbin was hiding something behind his back.
Chan tried to see what it was, but the other was quicker. Changbin swung his arms to the front, presenting a beautiful bouquet of carnations and asters.
»You're probably not really a flower guy, but I thought I could make you into one«

Chan felt starstruck.
»Changbin, I-«
He wasn't even able to form a complete sentence, the sight in front of him was just too unexpected.
But still so lovely.
At this point, the idea of everything just being a sweet dream seemed more logical to him.
He hesitantly took the flowers, his fingers touching Changbin's briefly, making him feel some realness in this fantasy.

»I'm sorry if I surprised you. You must be busy, right?«
Changbin laughed so warmly. Chan almost forgot he was supposed to say something now.
»No, it's fine! This is really sweet of you, Changbin«

»Are you sure? You seem a bit nervous«
Chan almost lost his mind at that point.
»Oh it's just that...«
At that moment, Chan could have told him about all of the thoughts keeping him awake at night. All of the wishes he had been trying to suppress.
»I was worried If I was going to be able to get these beautiful flowers home safely«
Making up an excuse felt so much easier.

»Oh don't worry sweetheart«
Changbin said these words as if they were nothing more. Chan touched his own face to check if his skin was as warm as he expected. He felt like he was melting away. He could barely even focus as the other went on.
»You don't have to take the metro today. I'm here with my car, I can give you a ride home after your shift. I bet that's safer for the flowers«

Chan remembered to speak.
»Oh you don't have to stick around and wait for me. It will be a while«
He tried to sound natural.
»It's fine. I'll get some light exercise in the meantime«
»Remember not to overdo it. Your last workout was pretty intense«
During all of this, Chan was still concerned for the other's health.
»Of course, of course. I know«
Changbin smiled one last time before heading off for the locker room.
Meanwhile Chan hurried to find a cup to put the flowers in water.
