Changbin had been acting so cute towards Chan lately. It threw Chan off a bit but admittedly also made his heart melt.
»Pretty well. Try to focus more on your breathing next time«
He ruffled through the other's hair who laughed and pushed him away.
»Oh, almost forgot to tell you! I published the song«
Changbin smiled proudly.
»Oh really?«
»Yeah. Soundcloud and YouTube. It already got some streams«
He seemed way too cool about it, like he was trying to play off his excitement.
»Well that's great! I'm sure it will do well«
Chan made sure to reassure him.
He really hoped this would be a way for Changbin to live out his passion. He knew the man was talented and he really hoped his skills would get a lot of recognition.
»Who's your next client by the way?«
Changbin had been curious lately.
»Oh I think Natalie is next«
Changbin's expression changed at once.
»You still let her come here?«
He pouted and Chan hoped he wasn't too serious.
»Did you expect me to just throw her out?«
Changbin crossed his arms.
»Well no... but«
Chan saw the opportunity and took it.
He came closer and held Changbin's shoulder to comfort him.
»Don't worry Binnie. You'll always stay my favorite«
The man's eyes lit up.
»Hey Mister Bhang. I'm ready for today's lesson«
Changbin's eyebrows furrowed again when Natalie approached them from behind, her ponytail swaying in her energetic stride.
»Oh of course«
Changbin gave Chan a sharp glance.
Chan wasn't too sure if he was joking anymore.
He decided it was best to give him some attention before he would leave.
»Hey Natalie, can you give us another minute?«
He turned to Changbin who suddenly looked a bit more calm.
»It's fine, I'll be off then«
Changbin smiled but Chan wasn't too sure if he was genuine.
He was about to ask if he was sure when Changbin suddenly came closer and kissed him on the cheek. He felt the man's hand on his shoulder, his bracelet dangling next to Chan's ear for a second just before he quickly backed away as if nothing happened.
Chan was left startled as Changbin smirked and waved before heading off.
He turned to meet Natalie's confused eyes.
»Uh well... are you ready then?«
He decided it was best to just move on without explaining.
»Yeah sure...«
Natalie still looked puzzled.
After a second of silence, she tried to ask about it again.
»Uhm... so are you two...?«
She didn't really seem to find the right words.
Chan just smiled.
»I guess so«
He suddenly didn't worry about admitting to it.
It felt more right than anything.
