Bears and Some Truths Part 3

(POV:Reader)

It was Elinor, she must have just heard Merid yell Mor'du and thought we were in trouble. Dad growled loudly and walked forward ready to attack Elinor but before he could do anything Merid dragged me towards Elinor. He picked me up from my waist and lifted me towards Elinor. She helped me up and Merid began to climb higher to avoid my dad. There wasn't much I could do at this point, I couldn't stop dad unless I came down and Elinor wasn't gonna let me go. I panicked as dad caught up to Merid, he may not hurt me but he for sure hurt anyone else.

-"Come on Merid your, almost there!" I encouraged as he climbed the last bit.

-"Jump, jump from there it's much faster" he jumped and grabbed Elinor's hand.

We pulled him up and Elinor pulled Merid and I on her back leaving my dad behind again in isolation. I tried to climb down but Elinor was too fast and I was in between Merid arms as he held onto Elinor's fur. We rushed for a while until we almost crashed into a stone pillar. From there we got down and I leaned against the pillar sitting on the ground.

-"Mom! We need to get you to the castle, if we don't hurry you'll become a real bear"

-"You'll become like Mor'du, forever" he continued

If I couldn't save my dad then I could at least try and save Elinor. Hopefully the witch was wrong and the curse can be broken and he won't stay a bear forever.

-"Mend the bond torn by pride" I repeated.

-"She gave us the answer, didn't she?" 

-"The tapestry, we have to sew the tapestry together again,"

-"We have to get into the castle and fix the tapestry and hopefully that'll break her curse" he continued, I nodded and we made our way to the castle.

We hid behind some bushes as we thought of a safe and good plan to get into the castle. Merid and I had come up with some ways...but we needed some assistance that we didn't have the pleasure of having and others seemed to be too crazy.

-"Mom, do you have a better plan?" Merid asked, Elinor started to nod her head to a 'no' but she must have remembered something because she scurried away. 

We followed her quietly walking past guards and finally reaching a secret door. We walked through the tunnels ending by a door near the kitchen. We peaked to the throne room and all four clans were in a corner fighting each other.
