You love to hang out with Ponyboy he was your bestest friend and you loved to do everything with him.
Honestly you had a crush on him for quite sometime now and you didn't want him to know because your afraid it will ruin your friendship.
You loved your friendship and you don't want anything to ruin that.
You protected Ponyboy and he protected you whenever you guys are in trouble or just in the general public.
One day you were hanging out at the Curtis house and Ponyboy walks in with a girl.
You look up to see him and your heart immediately dropped
"Everyone I want you to meet my girlfriend Vanessa"
Everybody waved at her while you just sat there dumbstruck.
Vanessa looked at you and walked over to you.
"Hi I'm Vanessa"
Well no shit your Vanessa, Ponyboy just said that.
"H-Hi" you managed to choke out.
"Ponyboy had told me a lot bout you, you seem really nice"
You look at him" He told you that huh?"
He shrugs at you and you look back at her.
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you"As soon as you said that you got up and stormed out. You were on the verge of busting out into tears
"What's up with her is she ok?" Vanessa asked
"Is it something I said?"
You were outside the house and you heard her say that.
You thought actually it is something you said and your existence that your here.
Ponyboy walked out and gave u a stare
"What's your problem Sophia! Did she say something?"
You look at him and you see him give you a stare that you never have seen before.
His eyes were full of anger and his fists were balled up.
You could see the flames in his eyes and his anger only boiling more by the second.
You open your mouth a few times and tried to say something but nothing came out.
He looked at you his eyes filled with anger.
"WELL?!"
You jump back at the tone of his voice he was practically yelling at you. He never yelled at you before, it took by surprise so much you shed a few tears.
"I'm s-sorry Ponyboy" you choked out on the verge of crying.
"Well you should be I don't want a best friend who doesn't treat people with respect!"
You looked at him in shock and your eyes start to get filled with tears.
Ponyboy noticed and he immediately wanted to take back what he said.
"Sophia I-I'm sor-"
By the time he could say that last word you already bolted off.
"SOPHIA WAIT!"
You ignore him and keep running.
Turns out Vanessa was listening the whole time.
"Ponyboy how could you say that to your best friend?"
Pony turned around and looked at the ground and started to shed some tears
"I don't no why I did but-"
"No pony go after her from what you told me you really care bout her and from what I've seen she likes you pony"
Ponyboy looks up in happiness.
"Really?"
"Yeah pony look go after her and go get em tiger"
"What bout you?"
"Oh I'll be fine besides we could still be friends right?"
"Right thanks Vanessa"
"Your welcome now go get her pony"
He ran off trying to look for you
You went to the only place that you and Ponyboy liked the most....
The vacant lot
You guys always loved the lot whenever it was night time it would be quiet and it would be a good view to look at the stars.
You guys would always look at the stars and admire the view and talk bout how it would be if we haven't hung round here.
You sit down on the grass and by this time you have stopped crying.
You immediately think bout pony and Vanessa they looked happy with each other.
You always want what's best for him and you wanted him to be happy even if that means you aren't in the picture.
You started to cry even more you want you best friend to be happy but you don't want to be selfish either and keep him from his happiness.
You wanted him to love you like you loved him but tonight it was obvious that he didn't love you like you do.
And you think that you just ruined your friendship too
That made you cry even more apart from him you had no one to care for you.
No one had cared for you like pony did he would always make sure your alright and that you would smile everyday.
He would always make your day and you loved that you finally had someone to care for you.
But you think you ruined that
Out of all the people who would yell at you it was Pony who did you thought he would be the last person to yell at you.
I guess you were wrong
You were too deep in thought to hear pony come and run towards you.
"Sophia thank god!"
You snapped out of thought and looked up to him
"I'm so sorry pony"
You started to cry and he pulled you into an embrace.
"No Sophia I'm sorry I didn't mean what I said back there I could never not be friends with you your my best friend I don't no what I would do without you in my life"
You looked up at him and gave him a warm smile.
You two stare into each other's eyes for some time.
"I love you Pony" you said
"I love you too Sophia"
"No!"
"What?"
"No you don't you love me u only love me as a friend I meant I love you as in I love as way more!"
He was token by surprise and started to form a look in his face
You immediately regretted what you had said.
"It's fine if you don't I never expected you to say it ba-"
You were cut off by a soft pair of lips touching yours.
It was so sweet and gentle and you loved every bit of this.
You guys pulled back and he smiled.
"Well you should have said something a long time ago Sophia I would have said yes"
"Well I wasn't sure if you felt the same way bout me"
He looked at you and brought your face to were you could see him.
"Now who couldn't love you your so sweet and caring"
You blushed at him and you hugged him.
"I'm glad I have you in my life Ponyboy"
"Me too Sophia me too"
You two cuddle under the stars until you fell asleep.
