"So again, why are you guys here?" I spoke. My question had all our eyes focused on them.

Victor looked at me. "We came back for you."

My eyebrows rose at his reply. They still wanted me? Ryker froze beside me, and I squeezed his hand. He looked over at me. His dark blue eyes were full of anguish and sadness. I knew that he was afraid that I would leave him for them, but I also knew that I wasn't going to leave him. Yet I was shocked at their direct message. I fidgeted in my seat. "I'm already in a relationship, and I don't know if I trust you yet. You guys left me. Even after you got "my" text, you didn't come and see if it was true."

Luke groaned. "I know that we were wrong. If anything, will you let us be friends?"

I blinked. They were going to let this go so easily.

Sean must have read the look on my face and chuckled. "We won't try to force ourselves into your life. We know what we did and don't want to make it worse."

My eyes went back to his arm. "You smoke."

Sean winced. "Yeah." He rubbed the back of his neck and he looked away. "After the text, I started smoking again. I recently quit. " Then he smirked. "But I was able to get Owen to eat another candy bar."

Mr. Blackbourne rolled his eyes. "And it was awful just like the last time."

Uncle clapped his hands. "Well, I think our part is over." He turned towards the Toma team and ex-Voltos. "Why don't you guys go home? These two teams need to speak on their own."

Quietly, they stood. The toma team gently wrapped me in their arms. I rolled my eyes. A mini panic attack was making them treat me like glass. After they left, the Voltos walked over to me despite the growls coming from a certain man in black.

Karen hugged me and whispered in my ear. "Give them hell."

I laughed, nodding my head. "I will."

Derrick was next. He was a bit stiff as he gave me a hug. I chuckled, wrapping my arms around him. He seemed to resist before allowing himself to relax into the hug. "How is Marie?"

After Marie left, Derrick followed her. I knew that he loved her, and she loved him. I was glad for her although she doesn't want to talk to me. He breathed out a sigh. "She doesn't show it often, but she misses you, Sang. In the future, she might reach out. I hope she does."

I pulled back. "Marie has her own problems. Our family wasn't great and she didn't leave unscathed. I'm glad that she has you."

He blushed. "Thanks, Sang. See you later."

Will and Mike hugged me from the sides. As they parted, their hands latched onto each other. I knew that they were interested in each other but didn't try to take their relationship further. This was new to me and I stared at them. "When did this happen?"

Mike shrugged. "Not long ago. We decided to see what will happen, and I'm happy Wil agreed to go on a date with me."

Wil blushed. "I'm happy that Mike was still interested in me after the Volto team separated."

I looked at my sweet friend. "What are you going to do about Kayli?"

Wil frowned. "I don't know. I don't like her boyfriends, but I know that she is happy with them. I'll talk to her soon."

Jay was last. He pulled me into his arms. He whispered. "Don't let them get off the hook easily."

I nodded. In high school, Jay always looked out for me. Even after I revealed to them that I was Academy, he was always near. He might hate what the Academy caused but he didn't hate the people in the organization.
