CHAPTER 10

A Fraud 

"I need to check them out, can you let me out?" He stood up. He was really tall. He opened the door for me and I got out. I thanked him and ran towards Auee if he's fine.

"Sasaksakin ko talaga ang mga gilagid non sa susunod kapag hindi na sila dito sa loob ng skwelahan umatake!" galit na singhag ni Renzo. Napatawa naman ang iba.

"I'm ok, thanks to you guys!" he said. P asked me if I'm fine and I answered him with a nod. Soul remained in his room the whole night. I waited for Cello and Rage to come back but Renzo told me not to. He forced me to sleep.

It was 4:30 am and I got up and got ready for school. Wearing my new uniform, I went out and I saw Soul having a coffee at the kitchen. I'm cooking breakfast so I greeted him.

"Ang aga mo ata." Komento ko. "Hmm. I jog at 3 am and get back at 4 am." He said bluntly. That might be his daily routine. I started to cook. I learned cooking when I was working to earn my tuition.

"I'll help you." pahayag niya at hinugasan ang mga ingredients sa lulutuin ko. I let him do what he wants. When I finished cooking I expected them to be up by now. So I knocked at their doors to wake them up.

"Magbibihis lang ako." Paalam ni Soul at pumasok na sa kwarto niya. Tumango naman ako bilang sagot. I got my tablet with me. I don't eat breakfast so I just had a coffee with me while waiting for them to come out.

"Good morning." Bati sa akin ni Auee. Tumango ako sa kanya. May nakita akong lugar sa school na hindi ko pa napupuntahan kaya nagpaalam ako na mauuna na ako sa kanila.

"See you later, Ace!" rinig kong sabi ni Auee. Nakatingin lang ako sa tablet ko habang pababa. May iilan akong nakaengkuwentro na estudyante pero mabilis akong naglakad papunta sa pupuntahan ko.

When I reached the place, I was right. It was beautiful. I picked a rose even if it's not allowed to pick flowers. The garden was big. It has a fountain and a rose bed. I lied down since the sun was not that high to blind me. The sky was so beautiful. Siguro walang studyante ang pumupunta rito tuwing umaga.

I turned up my ipod to the max and listened to the music. I think it's really ok if I nap a bit. It's still too early to go to my class. But I got up as soon as someone snatched my airpods. I looked at the criminal. He was smiling cheekily. I frowned at him.

"What the hell are you doing?" I asked him. He gave me an apple and my airpod back. I don't eat apples so I might just give this to someone or give it back to him. He's a total stranger to me.

"Who are you?" I asked him and gave the apple back but he insisted on giving it to me. He signed something that I don't get so he grabbed a paper and pen and wrote something.

"I'm mute but I can read your mouth." I read what he wrote. I looked at him. "I'm allergic to apples." He was shocked by what I said so he grabbed the apple back. I accidentally saw his watch rank, 990.

"Are you from Pavilion?" I asked him and he nodded. He wrote something and I read it out loud. "I'm Pierce, Rank 11." I grabbed his pen and wrote my stage name. From a distance I saw Renzo and Auee waving at me, telling me to come over. I nod at them and I bid goodbye to Pierce. He just smiled at me and waved. I smiled back at him and ran towards Auee and Renzo.

"Hey! Alam mo na ang section mo?" he asked. "Yas, pilot section." I said. "Nice! We're classmates." Auee said. Renzo was just looking at where I came from. He looked at me suspiciously.

"Why are you talking with Pierce?"

"Uh-my stage name." I answered him honestly. "Don't trust that guy, he's not really mute. Did you eat the apple?" umiling ako bilang sagot. "Good! It has poison." He said casually. What? That Pierce guy was not mute?

We continued walking until we reached the star section floor. All sections here are named by a certain profession. Just like ours, Pilot. I don't know what section the others are.

"Newcomer in Pilot, introduce yourself." Sabi ng prof sa akin. I faced all my classmates and told them my name. "Arthria Camilla Alcazar." I said. And the teacher let me sit in between Auee and Renzo. I saw that Pierce guy waved at me, I just stared at him blankly.

The class was so boring and most of the time I fell asleep. Renzo kept on kicking my chair to wake me up. The teacher almost caught me buti alang binigyan ako ng sagot ni Auee. I just don't love school.

"Ace! Mauna na muna kami ni Renzo, may hahabulin pa kasi kaming subject hehe ngayon lang kasi pumasok." Tumango lang ako bilang sagot. They left me while I'm still packing my unused stuff because I was a sleepy head! Wala na ang mga kaklase ko, nagsilabasan na sila para pumunta sa Arena. Wala naman akong balak pumunta sa arena kaya babalik na ako sa dorm.

Nung palabas na ako ay nakita ko yung lalaking nagbigay sa akin ng mansanas habang nagtatawanan ang mga barkada niya.

"Pink ba kamo Pierce?" tawa nung kasama niya. "Oo pre! Kitang-kita ko kaninang umaga!" he surely not a mute then. I frowned when the looked at me.

"Hello miss pink!" bati nung isa niyang kasama. Apat sila kasali na doon si Pierce. I am not dumb para hindi magets kung ano ang tinutukoy niya. I drop my bag at the side and face them seriously. What a scumbags! How can I wear pink? I hate pink to start off!

"Oh, feisty!" pahayag ni Pierce. "You want to see my panty? Para maconfirm?" I asked them and the three idiots went so excited. As if! I saw that Pierce guy went white. Buti nga! What a liar! As if I'm going to let them see my undies. I got down seductively just to get my bag when someone from my back picked it up and his voice was so low.

"Want to see hell?"
