After the Grand magic Games ended, many of the guilds and civilian's shuffled to Crystal Plaza where Toma E. Fiore, the ruler of this kingdom began a powerful speech.
The ruler of Fiore was going to speak, that was a big deal.
"Thank you all for coming. I hate to spoil the mood after the splendid display of wizardry today, but I'm afraid the heart of Fiore maybe in the claws of a dragon lord-"
"Did he just say-" Gray began
"Dragon..."
"Lord?" Vyra questioned
Many of the Fairy Tail members stomach's clenched.
Yeah... they didn't really have a good run in with a dragon last time...
"I thought Acnologia was the only one..." Makrov's eyes widened
"As we speak, a large scale counter offence is on the way to the castle..." Toma spoke as many began to gasp in fright
"The Eclipse Cannon!"
We will use it to wipe out the attacking dragons, all ten thousand of them at once-"
"Ten thousand??" Vyra repeated
This thing better work. They couldn't even take out Acnologia by itself on Tenrou Island. What makes a person think they can withstand a dragons attack of ten thousand?
"I can sense your concern, regrettably with the sheer number of the dragon forces... we expect that at most a few hundred will survive the attack..."
"So, I implore you guild wizards! Please lend Fiore your assistance in dealing with this crisis! You are the best hope in slaying these dragons that the Eclipse cannot!"
"I...I beg of you..." Toma bowed
"P-Please... don't let this kingdom fall... and be ruined..."
The crowd was dead silent. Not knowing what to do or say... until cheering broke out.
"YEAHHHH!"
"WILD!"
"We'll be glad to help!"
"You can count on us!"
"Heh. We won't be beaten by reptiles-"
"T-Thank y-you..." Toma began to cry in gratitude
"Gray!" Vyra jumped next to the boy
"We get to be dragon slayers!"
"Oh, how Natsu would be so proud~" Her eyes sparkled as she leaned her hand into her cheek making Gray comically roll his eyes
Hearing the Pyro's name from Vyra, it reminded Erza of something significant.
"The royal army has captured some of our comrades. We are going to need their help-" The red head turned to the guards
"I was informed of their safety. They recently joined the princess at the gate." The Royal guard spoke
"Alright!! So we're all working together on this one huh?" Gajeel smirked as the rest of the guilds began chatting with one another
"I suppose I can stomach working with you-" Lyon went over to Gray
"Just try not to slow me down-" Gray smirked
