FRIDAY came by quickly.

The Alpha's guest left the day before, leaving before I woke up. I had no idea who it was but I heard rumors it was a Beta from a pack close by.

I spent the rest of the day doing the same things. Annoyingly, I was creating a boring pattern.

On the day of Eden's arrival, everyone woke up early. The staff here got up at the crack of dawn and began brightening the place up.

After showering and changing, I headed downstairs and saw numerous pack members hanging balloons on the walls. They were all so busy they didn't even notice me.

I ate alone as usual, with a book by my side. I had read it before but I enjoyed it enough to re-read it.

Sabrina caught my eye at the end of the dining hall, ordering her mate and the Beta around. I arched an eyebrow at the sight, perplexed. She wasn't the same rank as Beta Blade so why was he allowing her to boss him around?

The banner nearly fell, causing Sabrina to shriek at them with a pissed-off expression planted on her face. She looked like a force to be reckoned with.

My morning flew by. I translated more of the book, had lunch in the dining hall by myself, and ventured out for a walk. I didn't sense anyone following me, to my utter relief.

The walk was peaceful. I wasn't interrupted by a single glare since there was nobody around. All the pack members were helping decorate the house for Eden.

When I returned to the house, there were people everywhere, rushing around. A large 'happy birthday' sign had been nailed over the stairs so that as soon as she stepped in, she would be greeted with it.
