Chapter 03

Akash was sitting in a restaurant with Payal. After a long time, they both managed to find some time alone. Payal was super excited as she does not have to deal with Khushi.

"So, no Khushi for 6 months huh?"

"Yeah, she is on study leave. She'll be in Pune the whole time and Chief handed me all her work. So I can't even get time off to go and see her"

"Akash at least we will get time for each other"

"What do you mean Payal? Please don't make me remind you that Khushi is my priority. She has no one else other than me"

"Akash, don't forget you have a life too. I should be your priority too"

"Don't start this again Payal. I am already annoyed so please don't make it worse. Let's have dinner and leave"

Both of them had a quiet dinner and Akash dropped Payal off before he headed to Khushi's place. Although Payal was angry at Akash for the way he treat her, she was glad for 6 months they will be Khushi free.

"Hi Akash, what a surprise. come on in"

"I wanted to see you before you head down to the party venue. But what the heck are you wearing? I thought you are going there as a guest"

"Actually, change of plans. My intel tells me that ASR is not coming alone. He's coming with his right-hand NK. NK is a ladies' man so he'll see through me right away. Therefore, I am going in there as a waitress"

"And... how are you planning on executing the plan?"

"I was actually going to call you then I remembered you guys were on a date so I have asked Hitesh to help me"

"Khushi, I am here and I can't trust anyone else. So call him and cancel. Whatever the plan is, I am here to help"

Khushi called her helper and cancelled. Then she explained the plan to Akash. Although Akash was reluctant at first, he knew her plan is brilliant.

"Khushi, I must give this to you, a well-planned plan"

"Thanks. Come on let's go. I don't want to be late for my first day at my new job"

"ASR, for once, try a different colour suit"

"NK, not a word, if you want to come with me, make sure to shut your mouth. If not, stay home and sulk thinking about LA"

"Ok, relax, but it will look funny though. The female heartthrob going to a party with a guy, we'll make a great headline"

"If you are done with your nonsense shall we?"

Arnav didn't want to take NK with him but he got stood up by this gold digger LA. Arnav has never seen her in person but he did some digging to know LA is not the girl for NK. No girl deserves NK. NK is the best friend, bother and companion one can ask for.

Arnav and NK reached the venue where the paparazzi were waiting for him. Arnav may be on the news for one reason or the other pretty much every day. However, to date, no one captured him with a woman.

But in reality, he never had issues getting women. Even today everyone who is close to him knew he will leave home with a woman. Valet boys around the city have many interesting stories about Arnav and his female encounters.

"NK, you have double-checked the security around the building haven't you?"

"Yes ASR, it is all checked and confirmed. I even hired extra security for the event outside their own security. So we have nothing to worry"

"The only thing I worry about is my personal life getting disclosed. As long as that's covered, I don't give a damn about the rest"

"ASR, don't forget you are a mortal. So stop considering yourself as an immortal"
