Chapter Sixty Eight

Kamakura

Yoshirō looked out of the balcony, gazing at the sakura tree that could be seen from the highest tower of the palace. The sun was setting, casting the sky in hues of purple, pink and orange. The youngest pup looked behind him, the unconscious form of Ser — Emperor Suguwara lying on the futon.

Shaggydog was lucky enough to have escaped with his life, serving as the pet for the Kamakuran guards and handmaiden alike. Miss Kaede had refused to talk about sake with the young boy, for alcoholic beverages were not allowed to be drank by children.

"How long has he been atill? " he asked the spirit that accused him for the night.

"Ten days. Why haven't you healed him, and where is Kyōko?" responded Masato.

"Busy with work. She must really hate you for killing her child. Now I take his name and the life he should have lived."

Masato looked away, and gazed back at the young pup.

"I've grown tired of the horrors of this world. The only way for me to pass on is for Fuyutsuki to forgive himself." he informed.

"That will be hard. "

"Which is why it would be worth it."

The young ice dragon entered the great markets of Ghiscair, Crystal trailing behind her. Beside her Cadal and Andros followed closely, the slaves and the masters surprised at her presence, it had been a long time since a Valyrian arrived in their city; the last time they did nothing but destroy everything.

" A Valyrian bitch " one of the masters hissed glaring at her.

As Cadal was about to say something, Elaena looked at the young chained women standing beside them looking almost terrified.... " What did he say? " she asked, glancing at the young woman acting as if she didn't know what he was saying.

" My master is surprised, it's been a long time since a Varlyian arrived in the city he thought all the Valyrians were wiped out during the doom of Valyria " the young women replied.

" Yes, well we haven't been wiped out yet " Elaena said with a small smile.

" I wish to buy all of the Ghiscari legions along with the navy fleet, " she stated, trying to stay calm.

As the young women began to translate back to her master, she looked around seeing the suffering chained people most of them consisting of young children.... anger began to rise within her at what she was seeing. Children chained up like savages— " she was cut off by her thoughts when the young women spoke to her again.
