Chapter 18 ~ Saving Meliorn & The Arrests

 "My siblings are pissed at me," Evangeline says playing with Sofia as Nick layed on the bed. 

"They will for some time but when they realize why your doing this they'll understand," Nick says 

"Yeah I..." Evangeline starts to say but stops when she and Nick hearing yelling causing them to sit up.

Nick picks up Sofia as they head out of the room seeing Isabelle, Lydia, Alexander and Meliorn.

"Where are you taking him," Isabelle demands Lydia and Alexander as they were leading Meliorn through the control room.

"To a holding cell and a guard unit will transport him to the Silent Brothers," Lydia says 

"You can't do that," Isabelle yells 

"It's not our decision Isabelle," Alexander says "The clave made the order"

"That could be a death sentence to a downworlder," Jace says 

"Are you trying to start a war with them," Evangeline says pissed off gaining their attention "Meliorn's told you everything he knows," 

"You don't know that, maybe we haven't asked the right questions. Seelies often Skirt the truth. If he has information on another territorist attack, it is our responsibility to get it," Lydia says 

"Let me talk to him," Isabelle suggests 

"That's wasn't exactly helpful in the last," Lydia scoffs 

"But he may not know anything, Alec this is going too far," Jace says 

"We don't have a choice," Alexander says as they take Meliorn away. 

Nick looks to Evangeline who was worried for Meliorn. Nick mouths to her we'll get him out trust me. 

Evangeline nods as she walks away to get ready. 

Magnus came and was able to get the Cup out of Alexander's safe with Alexander's stele only to be leaving the room heartbroken when Alec tells him that Evangeline was getting married. Magnus didn't know what to do. 

Meanwhile, Evangeline and Nick headed to the city of bones, the others head to the hotel where Simon was before coming to Evangeline and Nick where they were able to get Meliorn out with help form the Werwolves, vampire, and Shadowhunter's 

"I underestimated you," Meliorn says as Isabelle, Evangeline, Nick and he were outside the Hotel Dumort. 

"Is that a thank you," Isabelle asks smiling 

"In the Seelie world it is," he says kissing her. 

Evangeline looked away rubbing Sofias back as Nick smiled at the pair before looking away too. 

"I hate to break this reunion Izzy but we have to go," Jace says walking over making the pair separate 

Evangeline, Isabelle and Nick walked into the institute side by side the next morning acting as if they weren't responsible for the attack that took place of the Shadowhunter's.
