Dragging myself away from the whirlwind of the wedding and reception, I ushered Addy to our penthouse, feeling the fatigue hit me like a ton of bricks.Once we reached my penthouse, I handed Addy all the access codes, making it clear that this space was now hers to navigate freely.

We stumbled into the living room, collapsing onto the couch with a shared sigh of relief."Thirsty after all the dancing and celebrating, Blue? Grab a seat, and I'll get us something to drink. How about that?",I asked her. Addy nods her head and asks for water."Got it, water coming up!"

I handed Addy a glass of water, taking a seat beside her. We both sipped our drinks, the room filled with a comfortable silence.Addy inquired, "Where's my room?" With a smirk, I responded, "Follow me, and I'll show you to your kingdom, Mrs. Carter." Seeing her face turn red every time I call her Mrs. Carter is quite amusing.

As I led Addy to her room, I couldn't help but notice the way her eyes curiously scanned the surroundings.Addy's room was a harmonious blend of elegance and comfort. The walls, adorned with subtle pastel tones, created a calming aura. The queen-size bed, the centerpiece of the room, beckoned with its promise of peaceful nights. Soft cushions and throws added a touch of coziness, inviting relaxation after a long day.As her eyes wandered around, I couldn't help but notice a mix of curiosity and approval.

"Anything else you need, Blue?" I grinned.Addy smirked and replied, "Just some peace and quiet, Asher."With a smirk, I replied to Blue, "Well, you're in luck. This place is perfect for that." I playfully suggested to Addy, "Or you can come to my room. It's not too shabby either." Addy sarcastically replied to my offer, "Oh, what an enticing invitation, Mr. Carter. I'll have to think about it."
I bid Addy goodnight and made my way to my room.

I mutter to myself, contemplating how I'm supposed to sleep knowing Addy's just in the room next to mine, now officially my wife.Exhaustion overtakes the whirlwind of thoughts, pulling me into the embrace of sleep. Tiredness conquers the restless mind, and I surrender to the tranquility of the night.

The weights clink and the rhythmic sound of my breath fills the air as I push myself in the penthouse gym.The burn in my muscles, the pounding of my heart-it's a symphony of exertion that drowns out everything else. In this small corner of my world, I find clarity, a brief respite from the complexities of life.

The scent of sweat lingers in the air as I emerge from the gym, and there she is-Addy, comfortable in her pajamas, a sight strangely comforting. Her eyes widen as they trace the contours of my shirtless form, a momentary lapse in her composed facade. It's as if the air around us thickens with unspoken thoughts and tension.

I flash a playful smirk, "Like what you see, Mrs. Carter?" I tease, enjoying the subtle fluster that dances across her features. She comes out of the trance and replies "I've seen better".In a playful dance of teasing, I take a step towards Addy, and she responds by taking a step back. We continue this flirtatious exchange until her back gently hits the wall, creating a moment of playful tension between us.

With a mischievous grin, I decide to take things up a notch. Stepping closer, I trap Addy between myself and the wall.I lean in, my tone playful, and ask Addy, "Really, have you seen better?" with a smirk.I can't help but enjoy the sight as Addy's face turns scarlet.

I chuckle softly as Addy attempts to push me away, but I effortlessly pin her hands above her head. Our lighthearted banter comes to an abrupt halt as a subtle throat clearing breaks the spell. We both instinctively step back.Martha stands there with a teasing smile, a silent observer to our little moment. With a bemused expression, I introduce Addy to her, feeling a hint of embarrassment being caught.

Martha warmly hugs Addy and compliments her, saying, "You're so beautiful, darling." I can't help but smile at the genuine interaction.Martha's words echo in my mind as I glance at Addy. "You're a lucky man, Asher," she says.Indeed, I am, I think to myself.

I head to my room, deciding it's time for a shower.Choosing a laid-back vibe for this Sunday, I opt for comfy jeans and a simple black T-shirt. Casual and relaxed suits the mood.Feeling refreshed after the shower, I head down to have breakfast.Their laughter fills the kitchen as I make my entrance.

"What's happening, ladies?" I inquire, injecting a touch of humor into my voice as I join them in the kitchen.Martha dismisses the topic with a casual remark, "It's nothing, dear. Have breakfast." I pull up a chair beside Addy at the island.I playfully chime in, "You know, Martha, you were supposed to take a day off today."

Martha replies, "I wanted to meet Audrey, and I'll leave after preparing lunch." I nod.Addy smiles warmly and says, "That's so sweet, Martha. Thank you. And please, call me Addy." I can't help but feel a sense of contentment seeing them bond.

Addy and I make eye contact, and she quickly looks away, her ears turning a delightful shade of red.I can't help but think to myself, "My wife is so adorable."
