The room filled with excitement as everyone gathered near the Christmas tree, ready to exchange gifts. Wrapping paper rustled, laughter echoed, and the festive spirit enveloped us. I couldn't wait to see the smiles on their faces as they unwrapped the carefully chosen presents.

Amidst the cheerful exchange of gifts, I eagerly awaited Addy's present, wondering what thoughtful surprise she had in store for me. Standing next to Addy, I couldn't contain my curiosity and playfully nudged her, asking with a grin, "So, where's my gift, love?"

Addy chuckled and teased, "Patience, Asher. Good things come to those who wait." I raise an eyebrow playfully, "A surprise, huh? Alright, I'll go check it out. But don't blame me if I can't contain my excitement!" I wink at her and head towards our bedroom with a curious smile.

"Your surprise is on the terrace, darling. Why don't you go unwrap it while I fetch mine?" I suggest with a charming smile, eager to see her reaction.Addy grins playfully, "Alright, but yours better be as good as you're making it sound." She teases before heading towards the terrace.

I smile as I  reminisce about the heartfelt letter I  wrote for Addy, expressing my love, and the promise ring I  carefully selected to symbolize my commitment to loving and cherishing her forever.

My heart races with anticipation as I  discover the letter and ring box, mirroring the gift I had prepared for Addy. As I  unfold the letter, my eyes trace each word penned with love and sincerity. The emotions conveyed within each line resonate with my own feelings, creating a connection that transcends the paper.

Dear Asher,

Life took us from teenage dreams to a beautiful reality. Remember the days of youthful crushes and a gentle rejection? Fate smiled, leading us to an arranged marriage. Little did I know, it was a divine plan. In you, I found not just a husband but a soulmate who stood by me in the darkest hours, never casting judgment. Your love transformed wounds into wisdom, creating a haven in our shared journey. Today, I confess my heart overflows with gratitude and love. You, my once-crush and now life partner, are my greatest blessing.

In your love, I discovered my forever, and with heart, life, and soul, I promise to love you eternally, my dearest. I love you my dearest husband.

As I finish reading the heartfelt letter, tears gather in my eyes. Emotions swirl within me, a mix of joy, love, and realization. Clutching the letter and the ring, I  rush towards the terrace, eager to express my feelings and share this poignant moment with Addy.

Addy, holding the letter close to her heart, rises with a sudden realization. However, as she looks up, her gaze meets mine. There's a pause as our eyes lock, an unspoken understanding passing between us. Addy rushes into my arms, and despite a momentary imbalance, I  steady us both, returning her hug with warmth and affection.

"Merry Christmas, Asher. I love you and this is the best Christmas gift I can ever ask for and thankyou for loving me."As I look into Addy's eyes, I feel a warmth spreading through my chest. The twinkle in her eyes and the genuine gratitude in her voice make the Christmas lights around us seem even brighter.

"The best gift is having you in my life, Addy. Merry Christmas, Blue. I love you too" and I peck her forehead. "Can we sit and stargaze, please?" she asks me and gives a pout and puppy eyes. I chuckle at Addy's pout and puppy eyes, unable to resist her charms. "Anything for you, my love. Let's go stargazing."

I couldn't help but chuckle as Addy playfully called me cheesy. "Guilty as charged," I  admitted, enjoying the lighthearted banter between us.

I smile as I come out of the shower the next morning, watching Addy brushing her hair before the mirror. I appreciate the simple, everyday moments with her. I grin mischievously as I get an idea, heading over to Addy with playful intentions.

I notice Addy's eyes widen with surprise as I  stand in a towel, casually drying my wet hair. I catch her staring through the mirror, and she quickly averts her gaze, prompting a mischievous smile from me.

"What are you doing Asher?" she asks and I can see her face turning crimson. I smirk and reply, "Well, thought I'd add a little excitement to your morning routine. What do you think?" Addy blushes and playfully says, "You're impossible, Asher. Now, go put some clothes on before you catch a cold."I grin and reply, "Well, if catching a cold means getting your attention, maybe it's worth it."

I strolled over to her, couldn't resist the urge. Brushed her hair aside, went in for a neck kiss, left a little mark as a reminder. Our eyes locked in the mirror, sharing this secret language of desire. Couldn't help but smile against her skin, feeling her pulse race. It's like our own little dance, you know?

No words needed, just the unspoken understanding that in that moment, it's just us. It's wild how a simple glance in the mirror can say more than any words ever could. Love is in the details, and damn, this is our kind of language.

With a playful grin, Addy shyly pushes me aside, calling me shameless. I chuckle and reply, "Well, you married this shameless guy, so you'll have to put up with it, my love."

I grin as I serve breakfast to Addy, then glances up to find everyone's eyes on us. I wink playfully and say, "Guess we're stealing the spotlight today. Enjoy the view, everyone!"

My mother chuckles and tells Addy, "While I'd enjoy being a grandmother, my dear, I'm still too young for that title. Let's not rush into things, shall we?" My eyes widen, and I  drop my fork with a clatter as Addy chokes on her juice at my mother's unexpected words. The room falls into a brief, awkward silence.

We exchange confused glances, both trying to make sense of my mother's unexpected remark.
