Rachel Cook as Andy Christopher ^

Andy's P.O.V

I sit on my porch reading one of the newest books added to my never ending collection, as I wait for Emily to pick me up.

"Be out for 7 on the dot or I'm leaving your lonely ass."

I check the time, it was 7:30. Of course she's late, she's always late.

I finish the last chapter when Emily pulls up to my house, I quickly gather my things before getting into her car.

"How was your weekend?" She asks as we drives away.

"Don't ask stupid questions. You already know how my weekend was, we talked last night." I state searching for another book to read in my bag.

"Stop being salty, it's only Tuesday, save that for Thursday when we have P.E." She says with a laugh.

"I'll try to keep that in mind." I say before starting a new book.

"Go ahead and read your book and ignore me, your best friend, it's okay." She says faking sadness.

"Uh huh." I reply.

"Your a real bitch you know that?" She replies.

"You love me though." I say with a smile before redirecting my attention to the book.

"Yeah yeah whatever, go jump in a hole." She says before turning up the radio and singing along.

All the other kids with the pumped up kicks, you better run better run, faster than my bullet!

She sings loudly while tugging my arm to sing along, I try to shake her off but she had the grip of a lion.

"Focus on the road." I say laughing, as I try to shake her off. She ignores me and grabs my book and throws it in the back seat, I gasp in horror.

"Now sing along." She demands as she refocuses on the road.

"Fine! You damn psychopath." I reply before I too start belching the lyrics.

Emily always somehow managed to force me out of my comfort zone. Even when we were kids, she'd drag me away from my corner to play with everyone else. She grew on me and in time she became the one person I couldn't live without. Everyone loved her and she was one of the most popular girls in the school, I was more like 'that girl who's always with her'.

Not before long the car comes to a halt, forcing us to end our little karaoke session. We get out the car and make our way to the school. As we're walking through the halls, I realise everyone is whispering and some girls are even giggling, it felt a little more chaotic than usual.

"Did I miss something?" I ask Emily.

"Didn't you hear the news? What am I saying, of course you didn't." Emily says, "Nate is coming back." She finishes excitedly

"Nate? Who is Nate?" I ask confused.

"Nathaniel Smith......Riverbank's bad boy?" She hints to me.

"Not ringing a bell." I reply.

"How do you always manage to forget him? This is the fourth time Andy, fourth!" She exclaims, I watch her blankly.

"The one who put the laxatives in the teachers' donuts." She says with a sigh.

My eyes widen with realisation, I start laughing at the memory. It was honestly one of the best pranks I'd ever witnessed in this school.

"Of course you'd remember that. Everyone may think that your innocent but I know the truth, your the devil." She says watching me seriously. I just laugh, as we reach our lockers and I begin putting in some textbooks. The hallways get unusually quiet and soon all conversations seemed to die down,I look around in search of the cause.

In walks a tall, buff guy who looked extremely angry.

That's the definition of resting bitch face.

He had on a pair of black Ray Bands, his jet black hair was jelled back and he wore a leather jacket over a white t-shirt.

I lose interest and turn back to my locker, trying to figure out whether or not I'd need my biology textbook. After I finish packing my bag, I shut my locker and start walking to my class, but I immediately bump into someone causing me to drop my book and the bookmark slides out.

"Damn it, I lost the page." I say as I bend down and pick up it up, I raise my eyes to see the same tall guy looking down at me with a seriously pissed expression.

"Oh, sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." I say before walking around him as I try to find my page again. He stops me by grabbing my wrist, forcing me to face him.

"'Oh,sorry', is that it? Do you know who I am?" He asks boring holes into me with his eyes.

"Nope. Can you please loosen your grip Incredible Hulk?" I ask trying to free myself from his grip. This earns the gasps of some of the students watching.

Wait. There were people watching?

I look around and realise everyone was staring at us in complete silence. I blush as I feel all the eyes on me, focusing on me.

I want to leave.

"I go away for a few months and everyone forgets about me." He says with a chuckle, before letting go of my wrist. I look to Emily for help, but she just mouths the word 'laxatives' to me.

Laxatives?

Ohhhhh laxatives.

"Your that guy who put the laxatives in the teachers' lunch." I say laughing at the memory. Everyone looks at me in shock, I guess it wasn't normal to laugh in front this guy.

"The name's Nate, but yeah, that was me." He says with a chuckle.

"That was really funny." I say as I begin to laugh harder, completely forgetting my surroundings. The memory of my French teacher, Mr.Wills, holding his butt will sprinting to the bathroom re-enters my mind and I can't help but laugh even more.

The bell rings and everyone looses interest in us and scatters.

"I'll see you around." He says with a faint smile before walking away, it's the first time I saw him smile, his tough exterior crumbled a little bit with that smile.

"You just talked to Nathaniel Smith and came out alive, how is that even possible?" Emily says as she rushes to my side.

"He doesn't seem that bad to me."I reply as I turn and watch him walk away.

Not bad at all......
