The mood within the Weavers House's meeting grounds took an odd turn as all eyes fell onto, He Xiu, who made an unusual action. Many had even begun to wonder what she was up to as they thought to themselves.

"Hmm? Little Xiu, what's she—?" Hai Jinren was a bit surprised by He Xiu's actions, even more so for Tao Shen. But as for the Han twins and Liao Xinyan, they only showed deep looks.

Feng Yu was a bit stumped when He Xiu stood before him. Miren Fei frowned at this; she had already confirmed things with Feng Yu, and while she wouldn't expose her full passion until sorting out her position with his former 'connections,' she had no interest in there being another party.

One could call this a selflessness of a woman's instincts, but who would willingly want to share what they've already deemed as theirs.

Hmph! Miren Fei made an unsatisfied snort, causing a strange mood to build up in the air. He Wuhan, Dai Lin, and the others looked at this scene with interest, some chucking silently as they wanted to see how Feng Yu would get out of this, even more so for Lang Kuang, who was ready to make trouble in the background.

It's a pity, though Feng Yu wasn't as experienced, he wasn't a fool, he was a bit surprised by He Xiu's actions, but he soon recovered and asked with a calm look.

"Miss Xiu, what's wrong? Is there something you'd like to say?"

He Xiu lowered her head for a moment, balling her fists tightly before lifting her face revealing a determined expression.

Feng Yu had seen that look before; he gulped, resisting the urge to take a step back, fearing that the next words would be as he'd experienced with his former encounters. Soon though, Feng Yu found that his thoughts were only a delusion and He Xiu spoke differently than expected.

"Sir Crimson Mask, I... I would like to join your team on your journey."

When Feng Yu and the others heard her words, they felt surprised; they looked at He Xiu carefully, not knowing what to say, especially as they saw the reaction of those belonging to Weaver's Enclave.

"Xiu... Little Xiu, wha-what are you saying?!" Hai Jinren shouted while fixing his speech; he knew how dangerous the south was, even more so for now-famous Crimson Mask, who had offended many parties.

Not to mention, she had awakened her Phantom Eyes, drawing attention from that dangerous Black Dune's overlord faction since ancient times.

"Young Miss Xiu, you cannot go; your power isn't yet enough," A few of the weavers said when she went off on her own to 'rescue' Old Yang. They didn't say much before as that in itself was its own plan, and Old Yang was of a superior power; hence, it wasn't that alarming.

He Xiu looked at everyone with a slightly hesitant look before growing firmer and replying, "No, I have to go, I've thought about it for a while, and I know that this is the path I must take."

The others looked at her helplessly as Hai Jinren frowned, he took a step forward, prepared to grab her, but Liao Xinyan held his shoulder while looking at him.

"Eldest Brother, you can't be expecting for her to leave with them, right? You know of the dangers," Hai Jinren said with a pleading look on his face, many looked at him with pity as they knew that he had long since viewed He Xiu as more than just a junior sister.

Liao Xinyan was about to say something, but soon, He Wuhan's voice sounded, "Ren'er, you have to let her go, this is the path she must walk, and I have decided to let her take it - a young sparrow should ultimately spread its wings."

Hai Jinren frowned at this while biting his lips; in the end, he could only nod in agreement, not saying anything.

He Xiu felt a tug in her heart as she saw Hai Jinren's look; she sent him a quick mental message, "Senior Brother Hai... don't worry, when I'm finished with my journey, I'll return to see you."
