It was a quiet scene as the chatter from the excited individuals had died down; their eyes now focused onto the sight occurring at the corner of this lodge as they patiently observed the scenario. Cheng Ba, Jin Chin, and even Lu Wei now had looks of shocks on their faces as they didn't expect for someone like Mo Dang to utter his earlier words.

Currently, Feng Yu was looking towards Mo Dang with a serene expression on his face awaiting his reply. As he did so, he couldn't help but think inwardly, "A request he says? What could this fellow possibly want? I'm certain that we've never had any encounters. Hmm, could it be concerning the prize from the Rising Chain Challenge?"

As if he was on point, Mo Dang, who was sizing up Feng Yu, spoke again, "Your name is Yu Feng, correct? I've done a bit of checking up, and to my surprise, I have found that you are not from any unique background. Having come so far could already be considered as a marvelous feat, worthy of your itinerant heritage. I know how hard it is for you vagrants, so I'll make my offer simple..."

Upon speaking to here, Mo Dang smiled in a faintly conceited manner before continuing, "I'll gift you one hundred thousand middle-grade essence stones, with that you should be able to part with your quota for the Chamber of Five Elements."

Everyone who heard his words was stupefied; they looked at Mo Dang as if they listened to the funniest words in the world. No one in this room was a stranger to the benefits of such a treasure in the Storm Rise Cliff.

Still, despite mocking him inwardly, they didn't show any signs of outward mockery, merely looking at the scene in interest. Even Lu Wei from the Blood Rose Union, who was in sharp opposition to the Seven Blade Mercenaries, only looked on quietly as her eyes shone in a curious light.

A few of them showed looks of pity towards the fellow in the red garments; they knew full well how difficult it is for a rogue to rise to the peak. The silence seemed as if it would last for a while, but soon it became broken by the exclamations of a few individuals.

"Hahahaha!" A boisterous voice filled the area, as upon looking towards the source, one could only open their eyes in surprise.

The mysterious Desert Shaolin slammed his table in laughter, as the liquor from his mug stained both the table and his clothing.

As he laughed, he couldn't help but wipe the stains from his mouth. He then showed a look of disdain towards Mo Dang while he spoke, "You certainly are a fellow with big guts, you're trading what for the entry in the Chamber of Five Elements? A hundred thousand middle-grade essence stones? You must be losing your wits, little fellow..."

Mo Dang hearing this frowned, he turned his sights towards the Desert Shaman, and spoke in a cold tone of voice, "I'm not speaking to you now, am I Shaolin? In fact, shouldn't a person like you be in the desert, what did you come to the Eastern Lands to make?"

The Desert Shaolin smirked as these words and replied calmly, "Heh, a dog stares only at the mountain while the birds soar over its peak; my matters are of no concern to you. Everyone here knows how valuable the elemental energies are when tempering our foundations at this realm; no amount of essence stones can trade for such a feat. I think you - the bastard child from the Ni Clan, should be more focused on competing for that heritage of yours."
