As a female football player, you were one of those who were the most unappreciative, but nothing stopped you from playing the sport you loved.

You were on the Raven's team and a big game against the Chiefs was coming up around your corner and on this one, you were given the most important role of the game. Knowing that you were playing against the Cheifs was a little unsettling to you, as you've seen it all over the news along with everyone else.

The thing was, you were Taylor's ex and although the two of you left things on a good note, you felt that something wasn't just right but couldn't put your finger on what that was. Of course you loved Taylor still, and you only wanted for her to be happy as you move on from the past, and when you learned that Taylor was now dating Travis Kelce, you were happy for her and wished her all the happiness in the world. Knowing that the Cheifs was who you were up against, meant that there was a good chance Taylor would be there at the game with Travis's mom and you were nervous to see your ex girlfriend. If she was going to be there, you wanted to make sure that she can see your talent in football, how well you played and what got you on the team.

You haven't been in contact with Taylor since your breakup, and it made you unsure how to really feel. However, you decided that you would find out at the game, if she would be there. Unsurprisingly, she was there. The game looked promising, but you had no idea that day your team would lose as bad as they did. With you given the most important role of the game, you couldn't help but feel it was your fault the team lost and that there were ways you could've gone through to prevent this loss. It was the end of the game and everyone was slowly clearing the field, you were the only one that remained not long after. Or at least, that's what you thought. As you stood there mentally kicking yourself for literally nothing, your mind had prevented you from noticing that Taylor was approaching you. From afar, she could see how upset you were about the loss of your team and wanted to help make you feel better, waning to comfort you while giving you assuring words as she normally would when it would come to this.

This time, it was different.

Just as the tears started blinding your sight, you felt a hand on your shoulder and turned to see Taylor.

"Win or lose, it doesn't matter. The only thing that does is that you're my favorite player and always will be."

Taylor's words took immediate effect on you, as you were able to pull a small but genuine smile on your face. One of the best things about Taylor was that she knew how to put a smile on your face in a time like this.

She was the best at it.

Although you don't say anything, you turn to look at her and she doesn't hesitate to pull you into a loving, comfortable hug. Taylor was such a warm and loving person, anyone to have her in their lives in the way you did are the luckiest in the world. After the hug and a few assuring, encouraging words, she invites you to have lunch with her and Travis. To which you happily agreed to, accepting her invitation with such gratitude you had for her and her support.

Taylor was and always will be your biggest cheerleader.

Win or lose, it doesn't matter.
