Camping was something you and Taylor enjoyed doing together but often don't get to do, due to her busy schedule.
Sometimes, you can't help but feel as this was more of a distance relationship than a close one as you were home alone most of the time while Taylor was at the studio, or away on a world tour without you.
Camping was something you grew up doing, and easily became your absolute favorite hobby. It was a rare event of opportunity nowadays, but you both still did your best to squeeze in to make time for it and each other. A few times, you and Taylor would invite friends to come along with you on the trips. A few other times, you went winter camping together with family from both sides. The opportunities were rare as said before, so one day, Taylor decides to make arrangements on her busy schedule to take you camping and after succeeding in that, she decided to keep this as a surprise for you.
Before heading back home to you, she stops at the store and purchased the supplies that you would need in two nights and three days time. Once she got everything, including your favorite snacks, she headed home with an ear to ear smile on her face. Meanwhile, back at home, you had gotten some housework done so that it looks nice and inviting for when Taylor gets home. Because you weren't expecting Taylor to come home early, her sudden appearance took you by surprise as you were watching The Golden Girls. You jumped at the sound of the front door opening and closing, thinking that a stranger had gotten in somehow. But when you recognized the footsteps approaching you was Taylor's, you calmed down and waited for her to come find you.
"Taylor?"
"Hey!"
She smiles at you as part of her greeting, before coming to sit next to you, pulling you in for a hug in which you return.
"How are you already off today?"
"Did you not want me to come home?" she teases.
You rolled your eyes playfully in return as she begins to tell you about the arrangements she made on her schedule.
"Did you now?"
You were very excited to hear that, and Taylor could tell.
"I certainly did! But that's not even the best part, I have a little surprise for you."
Taylor smiles as you raise your brows, encouraging her to tell you more.
"What is it?"
"Well, I made the arrangements so that we could go camping for a few days."
"Really?! Where are we going to go?"
Taylor couldn't help but chuckle a bit at your excitement, she found it adorable.
"Anywhere you want to go, angel."
Hearing that, you smiled like never before as you knew right away where you wanted to go camping.
You have always wanted to take Taylor where your family used to go camping almost every summer, and that place would be in the south hills of Idaho. Taylor had taken you across the U.S. in her private jet and you knew she would do it again once she knew of the place you had in mind.
"Well, I've always wanted to take you to where my family and I used to go camping every summer."
"Where would that be?"
"South Hills of Idaho."
"That sounds amazing! Let's go!"
You didn't expect to go so soon, and started questioning it a little.
"Wait, as in right now?"
"Yes, right now. I stopped at the store on my way home and got the supplies we will need. I left them in the car, let's pack up now and than we will get on my private jet."
Oh, how you loved the bright smile Taylor had on her face as she watches you light up before going to pack. This turned out to be the best camping trip you both ever took, it was just so much fun for you both.
Just the timing spent together made it most memorable.
