Being sick had always brought nothing but misery to you and what's worse is the fact that Taylor is not home with you.
You felt perfectly normal just the night before, but when you woke up this morning, you were shivering and felt like garbage. This had literally had come out of nowhere, and you couldn't be certain what you were sick with until a doctor or Taylor confirms it.
If you were to take a wild guess, you would say that you were running a fever. A doctor was something you definitely needed right now, but with the condition you were in, you wouldn't be well enough to drive yourself. The idea of calling Taylor and having her to come pick you up didn't seem like an option as you didn't want to pull her away of her work at the studio, so you did the next best thing. That was of you calling Selena up and asking if she wasn't too busy to take you over. Selena immediately agreed after you explained to her what was going on and how you were feeling. While she was on her way, you decide to change into a fresh pair of pajamas and that's when you put on one of Taylor's oversized shirts along with a pair of comfortable leggings.

As it turns out, the doctor diagnoses you with strep throat and fever. It would only last up to a few days as long as you keep up with the treatment for it as instructed.
Since Taylor was still out, Selena insisted that she'd stay with you at home to take care of you until Taylor returns. While she was about to notify Taylor of your wellbeing, you protested against it and Selena eventually agreed to wait until Taylor comes home to inform her of everything. So, of course it was a surprise for Taylor to come home to Selena taking care of you as you were resting on the couch. Upon seeing you in this condition, Taylor grew concerned and immediately demanded to know what was going on and why she was not informed.
"What's going on here?"
Since you were asleep, Selena spoke for you, not wanting you to be disturbed.
"(Y/n) had called me not feeling well and asked me to take her to the doctors. She had been diagnosed with strep throat and fever." Selena explains.
As Taylor looks over at you, that's when she realizes you're wearing one of her oversized shirts and couldn't help but give a small smile, absolutely loving the way it looked in you before snapping back in the moment.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"She asked me not to. I really did try, but she was worried of disrupting you if you were in the middle of something."
"It wouldn't have. Next time, just tell me. I don't care what she thinks about it, her health and wellbeing is always my priority."
"Of course."
Taylor looks over at you again, both with worry and admiration before continuing on the conversation.
"Thank you for looking after her."
"No problem. I told her that I wouldn't be going anywhere until I know that you will be home with her. But I can still stay over to help you out if you'd like."
"It's alright, I can take it from here."
"You sure?"
"Yes. If I need anything, I will let you know."
"Okay, I'm going to hold you up on that promise. Let me know how she's doing."
"Will do."
On that note, Selena leaves and it's now up to Taylor to take care of you through recovery.
All you needed was Taylor and if she wasn't around, you would simply borrow her oversized shirt and she didn't mind at all. Taylor loves to see you wear something of hers as she thought just how adorable it was and the way it looked.
It looked better on you.
