Manik's POV
Just one more day to o Manik. Yeah, it's just 24 hours, nothing to worry. She is there with her family. Yeah.
I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror. I wore a yellow kurta as per Mom's advice because today was my haldi.

I gelled my hair up a bit and glanced at myself in the mirror.
I wonder what she will be doing right now? Should I call her? Yes, she did message me in the morning saying she is gonna perform some ritual and will be busy in that. But, what should do? I haven't seen her too. I so want to see her. these rituals are like toxic to me right now.
I sighed and looked at myself again in the mirror. From tomorrow you will be here Nandini. I smiled and picked up my phone. I unlock the screen and it was her and mine photo.

I caressed it over screen. I miss her. I realise now I can wait more to make her mine. I cannot really stay away from her. Even if it is just for 24 hours.
"Just one more day Nandini... And I promise, Duniya ki saari khushiya tumhe dunga." I smiled and put the phone down.
"Bhai.... Come.... It's time for your Haldi..." I heard Pihu calling me. I shook my head and went down.
