I peeked through my book to my side. I saw Manik drowsily checking his phone. He was looking sleepy, Damn sleepy...!

I looked at the opposite wall to see the wall clock. It showed 11:30 in night. Thirty minutes to go and here I don't see any excitement of my big day in my husband's behaviour.

I pouted and concentrated on my book silently.

After like two minutes I felt his hands encircling around my stomach lazily.

"uhmm... chalo na... let's sleep now. What is so interesting that you are reading still?" He asked nuzzling in my lap sleepily.

"I am sleepy Baby..." he almost pulled me in sleeping position. Giving up I placed the book on side table but sat straight.

"What?" he asked trying to keep his eyes open.

I looked here and there and then sighed "Manik... do you know what is it tomorrow?" I asked biting my lips.

He sat beside me rubbing his eyes and then looked at me "what? I don't know what you are talking about?"

"anything that you can remember?" I asked more giving him some sort of hint.

He rubbed his eyes more. He now looked awake. Hush....

"kya hai kal? Kya hai?" he asked himself two times and then turned to me smilingly. See he knows. He can't forget. I mentally smiled.

"Haan... our honeymoon's last second day. I know... and I promise you that we will..."

"Manik wo nahi...." I stopped him in between creasing my forehead.

He looked at me amusingly.

"Matlab... haan... wo bhi.... But kuch aur?" I again asked.

"haan... Friday may be..." he rubbed his neck confusingly.

"Manik... day nahi... if you can remember something from date...?" I rubbed my hands excitedly giving him the final clue. Now to he will definitely remember.

"Date?" he looked at me confusingly and then widened his eyes. He remembers... aw... finally.

He hurriedly took his phone and checked something. Must be checking tomorrow's date.

"nahi... I don't have to buy you any ice cream in near dates." He spoke shrugging his shoulders. What?

"What?" I asked him confusingly.

"Are... your period dates... it still has time." He said as it was a matter of fact.

I looked at him with wide open eyes. What. Was. That? I mean like seriously? Which husband keep the note of his wife's period dates?

"Manik...? You are tracking my menstrual cycle?" I asked him blinking my eyes in an utter shock.

"Of course... It is very important... it always reminds me of what I have to buy. Ice creams or condoms... you see..." He said smilingly and showed me his phone. It has a reminder of 'Buy ice cream instead of Condom'
