***Draco's POV***

I couldn't sleep. Even after talking to Harry, I couldn't erase the guilt from my heart. So here I was, lying in our bed, staring at our ceiling and embracing her pillow. It still smelt like her—strawberries. But it was fading, just like the image of her living here. Soon it'll look like I was the only one that ever lived here and that terrified me.

I buried my face in her pillow as the overwhelming loneliness weighed on me, dragging me under, into the darkness.

I'm so sorry.

I bolted upright. That voice. I could never forget that voice. I looked around, anxiously, hoping and praying that she would walk out of the darkness and into my arms.

I wish I could have done more. You deserved better than the girl with the cursed family. I love you.

"Don't be sorry." I said, standing up and walking around the perimeter of the room, looking for her. "You know I'd never blame you. I would love you again even if I knew about the curse. Just keep fighting. I'll get you back, love. I promise."

Don't leave me, I can't do this without you.

My heart broke when I heard her say that. She had been so strong before, so sure. That was the only comfort I ever took after she left, that she would be okay, that she wouldn't be scared.

"Be strong, love." I said, forcing myself to sound convincing and not as if I was being tore apart from the inside out.

She was hurting and I couldn't be there to help her. I was a sitting duck and I couldn't take it anymore. I threw on some clothes and raced out the door and into the crisp London air. I thought about apparating but I needed time to think.

If that was really Jen then I have no time to waste. I had to find her and kill Pierce. I would do anything at this point. I don't care if I were to be sent to Azkaban for the rest of my life, if it meant I could save Jen, I'd do it.

"I will save you, Jen, just give me time." I whispered into the wind.

Before I knew it, I was turning into a familiar neighborhood and knocking on the door to—

"Jesus, Draco, it's three o'clock in the morning." Harry groaned, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"We need to save Jen." I said, not bothering to say 'sorry' and pushed my way inside.

"Yeah, I know. You didn't have to wake up—"

"The entire household." A voice said from the top of the stairs.

I looked up to see Ginny and their godson Teddy balanced on her hip.

I at least had the decency to look sheepish. I didn't care that I woke up Harry, but I didn't want to wake up the kid (who I had in all honesty forgot about).

"Sorry." I said then turned to Harry. "We need to talk."

Harry rolled his eyes then looked up at his wife. "I'll be just a few minutes, love."

Ginny rolled her eyes (like Harry, I should point out) but disappeared down the hallway without another word.

I walked into their living room and started pacing in front of the fireplace. Harry followed and slouched down onto the couch.

"What is this about?" Harry asked, watching me pace back and forth as he sniffled a yawn.

"Jen's in pain and we've got no time to waste."

"Draco—"

"There has to be something we're missing. There's got to be something we can do, some way to locate her."
