It has been a month since Jennie and Yoongi's passings. We couldn't find their bodies when we went back, so we just held a mini funeral with their pictures. Everyone was back to their normal selves, well, almost everyone. Taehyung wasn't.
He starves himself, locks himself in his room and even attempted to kill himself. The guys and I tried talking to him many times, only to be turned away harshly.
"Jisoo-ah, will things ever be okay..?" I asked my girlfriend, who was laying on my chest.
"Of course they will be Jin oppa. I'm sure Taehyung oppa will recover and go back to his normal self soon, it takes time." Jisoo said, I nodded.
"Let's hope so."
Taehyung
The moment when Jennie got striked kept repeating in my head. Her eyes showed a mixture of sadness, anger, regret and somewhat, happiness?
"Stay strong for me Taehyung..."
I sat upright almost immediately. Jennie? I could've swore I heard her voice, I frantically looked all over my room for her. I know she's alive, she must be hiding!
"Jennie-ah! Where are you? Show yourself!" I shouted as I looked around, she'll come out any second now. I'm sure of it.
I waited.
And waited.
But she never came.
"WAE? WHY IS MY LIFE SO UNFAIR?! GIVE ME BACK YOONGI HYUNG, HOSEOK HYUNG AND NAMJOON HYUNG, GIVE ME BACK MY JENDEUKIE!" I shouted as I fell to the ground, tears started spilling out of my already puffy eyes.
"Wae.... Why can't I be happy like Jimin? Why can't I have my girlfriend by my side like Jungkook? Why can't I be like Jin hyung? He has Jisoo with him. They all have someone, except for me.."
"THIS IS SO UNFAIR..."
"So very unfair..." I muttered as I sobbed.
My bedroom's door burst opened, and in came Jungkook, Jimin, Jin hyung, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé.
"Oh Taehyung, are you okay? We heard some shouting in your room." Jin hyung said as he looked at me worriedly.
"I'm o-okay..." I replied weakly, Jungkook frowned.
"Stop lying to us Taehyung hyung. You've been crying again, right?" Jungkook asked me, I smilled.
"Aniya, why would I? I'm over it. Hah!" I lied, this was the first time I've lied this much to my close friends.
"Stop lying oppa. You're not, I heard everything you said." Rosé spoke up, I looked at her. She heard everything I said..?
"You miss Jenduekie and the others right?" Lisa asked me, I nodded.
"We know, we miss them too. But what happened cannot be changed, Taehyung-ah." Jimin said, I looked up at them.
"Kaja, let's go buy some new clothes for you!" Jin hyung said cheerfully and dragged me out of my room and into the van, the rest followed suit.
"What brand do you want?" Jisoo asked me, but before I could answer, Jungkook laughed.
"Is that even a question noona? Everything he has is Gucci."
I smiled.
For the first time in a very long time, I felt like I was happy.
But I know deep down I really wasn't. Time heals the broken hearted, so I guess I'll just have to wait.
