chapter thirty one

a/n it's not proofread and probably boring as fuck. but yeah there's only a few more chapters and the story is over sadly.

only an hour until the party would start. billie and i were both so anxious and excited. all of the people that i loved the most would be there and i was so happy.

i went upstairs and fixed my hair a bit. i heard footsteps coming.

"hey y/n," i heard my mom say.

"hi momma," i said before turning around and pulling into a hug.

"i'm so proud of you," she said.

i saw tears form in her eyes.

"thank you," i said before i felt myself start to tear up.

"dad would be so proud if he was here," she said.

"i know he's here in spirit," i said before tears were running down both of our faces.

"enough with that sappy shit," i joked before hugging her again.

"i love you momma," i said.

"i love you too," she replied.

after quickly pulling ourselves together, we went back downstairs.

"you okay baby?" billie asked me.

"yeah my mom and i just had a moment," i said before laughing.

she then pulled me into a hug. her hugs were so nice and comforting. i could never get over that.

then there was a knock at the door. elijah and isaac.

"hey dudes," elijah said before hugging her and then me.

"hi," isaac exclaimed before hugging us as well.

about ten minutes later another knock was heard at the door.

it was my grandpa. my dad's dad.

"hi grandpa," i cooed before hugging him.

he was the only relative other than my parents that supported me. i appreciated him so much.

"hello sarah," he said before pulling my mom into a hug.

"hi dennis," she said smiling. "thank you for coming," she went on.

"i wouldn't miss it for anything," he said before glancing at me.

i smiled.

"hey baby," billie said before standing next to me.

"so this is the lucky lady," my grandpa said before walking over to billie.

"hi," billie said a little awkwardly.

he pulled her into a hug.

"thank you for keeping my y/n safe," he said.

"thank you for being such a supportive grandfather," she replied.

billie was so nice to him. she was such a caring person. i loved her so much.

we went over to the table and i got some food considering i was starving. we all just sat around the table and talked.

we would all be laughing every few minutes from finneas's jokes. we told stories and billie was mostly trying to embarrass finneas.

i also tried to embarrass him and billie because well they both deserved it.

"sorry to interrupt but i'm too excited we have to pop the balloons now," claudia said eagerly.

"finally i've waited for forever," billie said.

we all walked outside, billie and i hand in hand. i was so excited.

"alright so here's the two balloons," claudia said before handing them over to us. "on the count of three," she said. "one," she went on.

"two," billie said.

"three!" i exclaimed.

pink confetti came out of them. we were having a baby girl.
