I've failed him in some way- I know that.

"What the fuck are you apologizing for dumbass?" Katsuki retorted- flicking me in the forehead.

I don't know- but I need to apologize.

"I was so confident- I was so sure that nothing was going to happen to you," I sobbed.

Even after that scare- I wasn't as alert as I should have been.

"I got kidnapped," he paused, "it doesn't matter you're alive, we're alive."

Right- that's what really matters.

"I missed you."

"You were gone for two days, what are you talking about?" Katsuki scoffed.

IM-

"YOU DIDN'T MISS ME?"

"IT WAS TWO DAYS."

"YEAH TWO DAYS OF NOT SEEING MY BEAUTIFUL FACE- WHAT ARE YOU GOING ON ABOUT?"

"I DIDN'T MISS YOU-" a small smile spread onto his features.

YOU LOOK EVIL

"IN FACT-" Katsuki continued, "EVEN WHEN I WAS KIDNAPPED I WAS THINKING ABOUT HOW MUCH I WANTED TO STAY AWAY FROM YOU."

"WHAT THE HELL-" I decked him with a pillow.

THAT'S SO RUDE

"Y/N-" Momo and the girls came rushing into the room.

FINALLY PEOPLE WHO ARE NICE TO ME

"I'm back," I waved at them, beaming.

It feels like it's been forever since I was able to comfortably argue like this.

I'm going to keep it like this.

"I missed you, idiot," Katsuki whispered, pulling me in for a deep kiss.

"I would be an awful mother," I muttered standing over a bowl of ruined soup.

Hey food is food.

AS IT TURNS OUT- IT'S KINDA HARD TO BECOME SELF SUFFICIENT AGAIN AFTER BEING COMPLETELY RELIANT ON HELP FROM OTHER PEOPLE FOR YEARS.

It's the thought that counts.

"I would be an awful father, what's new," Katsuki let out a loud yawn walking into the kitchen.

True ! We would be disaster parents !

"You said it first," I sighed glancing around the downstairs of our home.

It's definitely a downgrade from my mega mansion but!

"We're much better off bullying someone else's children," he let out a low chuckle- pulling me into a hug.

"I love you," I burried my head into his chest, relaxing into it.

I can't imagine a time before this.

"Yeah whatever," Katsuki averted his eyes.

"THAT'S THE WRONG ANSWER-" I pushed him away from me.

THE MOMENT ????

AWFUL ! RUDE ! WAR CRIMINAL !

"WHO COULD LOVE SOMEONE AS LOUD AS YOU?" Katsuki retorted, scoffing.

YOU ????

"WE'RE ENGAGED? YOU'RE SAYING THIS AS WE'RE ENGAGED?"

LEAVE ME !

"MARRIAGE IS BUILT ON MUTUAL LOATHING."

FINE OK THERE MIGHT BE SOME TRUTH IN THAT ONE

"I HATE YOU!"

"What's for dinner?" I pouted, turning my back to him.

"Cheap takeout," Katsuki pulled out his phone- zoning out.

You don't have to look so good when you're being annoying <3

"Good enough for me," I turned on my heel, walking out of the room.

"I love you too," someone mumbled behind me.

I know <3

"What was that?" I swung around, beaming.

"NOTHING."

I can't wait for the rest of our lives.

I'm sorry if this feels like a bit of a lackluster ending to the whole thing ♥️ I always like more mundane every day life interactions but I'm sure that isn't everyone's favorite.
