The next day, Ajay was sitting in his cabin thinking how to find out what is that which is troubling Geet when someone knocks on his cabin, "Come in", he looks up to see who it is and was surprised to see the person. He smiles and goes to hug that person "Finally someone had the time to visit", the other person also smiles and hugs him "I just visited you six months back Anna (Brother)", Ajay "Yeah yeah I was just pulling your leg...but you have become really busy Mr.Nishant Reddy...Come sit down...you could have informed me right Nishu that you are coming". Nishant is Ajay's cousin brother, son of his mother's cousin brother, Nishant is an interior designer, he has set up his own firm which provides designing services on contract basis, he had started his career three years back in Sunshine Resorts training under some of the best designers working in company. Nishant smiles "Actually Atha (Aunt), Vikrant Anna and Vish Vadina (Sister-in-law) knew...only for you it was a surprise", Ajay rolls his eyes "Right you and your surprises...how are Varun and Vikram Anna...has Varun stopped romancing with his wife in public" Nishant laughs "You know that's not happening...Varun Anna and Anisha Vadina will always be the most romantic couple of the family...both of them are great and busy with their wives😉" Ajay shakes his head "Your brother is crazy", Nishant smirks "I heard from Atha that you also have gone crazy....who is it...I need to meet her...hayee all my brothers are in love...(he fake cries) seems like it's only me who is going to die single" Ajay laughs seeing his acting "No.1 actor of the family" Nishant smiles "Bro come on call her na I want to see her", Ajay becomes serious at the mention of her "Umm...I don't think it's a good idea Nishu...well your brother got rejected yesterday by that girl" Nishant also becomes serious hearing that "But why Anna" Ajay smiles sadly "I don't know what's stopping her Nishu...it's not like she doesn't feel anything for me she does feel something for me I could sense it but there is something that's stopping her...I need to find out what it is" Nishant hugs Ajay "Don't worry Anna everything will be fine soon...now that I'm here I'll help you...I'm here for a month...we will do everything possible to make her accept her feelings...Okay now smile...I don't like to see this gloomy face...I want to only see the strict boss and angry young man Ajay Chowdhary" Ajay smiles hearing his last sentence "Okay" Nishant "But I still want to see her" Ajay "You have to wait for that....she comes only by afternoon" Nishant "Okay I can wait".
Nishant stays in Ajay's cabin, talking and catching up with him when there was a knock on his cabin, he hadn't called anyone so he thought it might be Anushka coming in to get something signed, "Come in", when he looks up to see who it is, he was shocked to see Geet in his cabin, more than him Nishant was shocked on seeing Geet, Geet on the other hand did not notice Nishant, she looks here and there instead of looking at Ajay "Ummm I left my laptop here yesterday", she had left from his cabin in a hurry yesterday that she didn't take her laptop back to her cabin. Ajay just nods "Oh okay Ms.Iyer here it is", Nishant shouts from the other side "Anjuuuuu", Geet turns around and was shocked to see Nishant "Nishant", Nishant smiles and goes to her "Well Hello...long time no see", Ajay was now confused "Nishu You know Ms.Iyer" Nishant "Ofcourse Anna...we studied together...she was my classmate and benchmate and my best friend in my u.g but I wasn't her best friend that's a different story...but wait she is not Ms.Iyer...she is Ms.Rao...Geethanjali Rao...wait if now you are Geethanjali Iyer that means that idiot of a guy finally had the guts to propose you and you got married...bro she isn't Ms.Iyer she is Mrs.Iyer".
Ajay's world collapses hearing that she is already married, only a whisper comes out "What", his eyes glistens with tears, but he quickly composes himself so that Nishant doesn't notice his tears, he looks at Geet "Is that true Ms.Iyer...I mean Mrs.Iyer", she looks at him and his glistening eyes tell her his pain, she stands there thinking, it's better if he thinks I'm married...that way even he will stay away from me...I'm sorry I'm hurting you🥺...I don't have a choice...I'm really sorry...but anything to not loose you...this is not a complete lie also...it's partially true...I'm still Vishnu's wife, she controls her tears which were ready to spill and looks at him with a stern expression "Yes...I'm", Ajay's heart shatters into pieces while Nishant was smiling "Okay now you have to tell me everything...Anna I will be back...let's go to your cabin...lots of catching up to do". Geet keeps looking at Ajay while Nishant takes her out of Ajay's cabin, she was not able to bear the pain that was flashing in his eyes, her heart aches seeing him hurt but thinking it's for the better she leaves from his cabin with Nishant. Ajay breaks down completely after Nishant and Geet leave from his cabin, how did I not notice...how did I not notice that she is married...but she doesn't wear anything that symbolises a married woman..neither sindoor nor nuptial chain nor toe...wait I haven't seen that...but how can a married woman not wear nuptial chain...now I know that she is married that must be the reason that was stopping her...but what I saw in her eyes was that a lie...it can't be right...even if it is the truth what's the use she is already married...I will now stay away from her...why Geet why didn't you correct me when I call you Ms.Iyer...why did you lead me to think you are not married...I wish I had not fallen in love with you...I wish I knew before that you are married...I can only wish now🥺...but I promise you one thing there won't be any other woman in my life...you were the only one and if not you no one shall enter my life...I'm sorry Maa your Ajju can't fulfil your dream of seeing me married💔...I can't love anyone else my love is only for her, fresh tears keep poring from his eyes while his heart keeps breaking into pieces thinking she is married and can never be his.
Geet takes Nishant to her cabin, she had been trying hard to control her tears but they were ready to spill from her eyes anytime and she couldn't show it to Nishant, "Nishant you wait here I'll just be back", she runs to the woman's restroom and cries her heart out, I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...I'm hurting you but it's necessary...this is the only thing that will make you stay away from me...and I will leave from here soon and it will be easy for you to forget me if you keep thinking that I'm married...I hope you don't try to find out the truth about my marriage, her heart pricks and she closes her eyes only to see Ajay's painful eyes. She wipes her tears and washes her face so that Nishant would not find out that she had been crying, but her red glistening eyes, she couldn't hide that, she goes back to her cabin putting on a fake smile. Nishant notices her red eyes "Hey Anju what happened did you cry", Geet looks elsewhere "No no when I went to the washroom something fell in my eyes...I was rubbing it and it became red", Nishant was not completely convinced but he doesn't persist "Okay...now tell me how did you both get married...how is he...when did you get married and why didn't you invite me", though her eyes wells up with tears she controls them "Slow down Nishant one question at a time yaar", she narrates everything about her marriage and finally ends with saying that he is fine, Nishant "I want to meet him...I want to know how he finally got the guts to propose you...and I have to ask him also how come he did not invite me for your marriage". Vishnu studied M.B.A in the same college as Geet and Nishant, they both studied u.g together in the same college, Vishnu would always join Geet and Nishant during lunch so Nishant knew Vishnu and he understood Vishnu's feelings for Geet just by seeing the way he behaved when they were together, Nishant used to tease Vishnu without Geet's knowledge during their college days.
Geet didn't want to let Nishant know what had happened to Vishnu and her dad, he is Mr.Chowdhary's brother if he comes to know the truth he will inform Mr.Chowdhary...I can't risk him knowing...I have to somehow divert Nishant's attention from Vishnu, Geet looks elsewhere "Vishnu is in London yaar...he has gone due some of his company's work...he will be back only after a month", Nishant pouts "Offo yaar...he escaped" Geet smiles a little "Hmm", Nishant looks at the time "Oh no...I have to go Anna will be waiting...I will see you soon...I will be in Chennai for a month" Geet "Sure". Nishant goes back to Ajay's cabin and finds him sitting looking at his laptop and vigorously typing something, "Anna where is your love...is she here yet", Ajay without looking up from his laptop "Umm no Nishu she won't be here today...uhhh she took an emergency leave" Nishant pouts "Oh no...I so wanted to see her...but it's okay...I will see her later". Ajay just nods, his throat was constricting and tears were ready to flow, Nishant "Anna I have some work...I will complete it and reach home directly" Ajay looks up and tries to smile a little "Okay Nishu".
