Favour ( Benny X reader)

Part 3

As soon I get there, I run over to them.

"Benny!" I yell.

"Yeah?" He looks confused, as do all the other boys.

"I need to talk to you, now" I look at him with urgency.

"Alright" he walks over to me.

"Keep on playing! You can have him back in a sec!" I yell to the other boys. I grab Bennys arm and take him to the dugout so none of the boys can hear us.

"So you know that favour you owe me." I remind him.

"I don't owe you any favour." He says acting confused but by his face I can tell he knows what I mean.

"Oh, so you won't mind me telling the boys what happened last summer" I smirk.

"No! Do not tell them." He looks desperate

"what's the favour?" He asks in defeat

"Okay so Philips is going out with Hayley and-" I say

"No" he cuts me off. "I am not going to pretend to be your boyfriend"

I'm quite impressed that he worked it out so quickly.

"What! You owe me!" I

"I have never said I owe you"  he says

"Yes you did, I remember you exact words" I say "you said please don't tell the boys about this then I said I won't then you said thanks, I owe you."

He looks scared. I can tell he remembers. "Shit"

"Don't worry, the boys don't have to know." I assure him, he looks more calm now "but everyone else has to"

He goes back to looking scared "why do you even want to do this? Just to get back at Philips?"

"Well pretty much." I say

"Why'd you pick me to be your pretend boyfriend, why not someone else?" He asks.

"Because I know it'll annoy Hayley." I laugh to myself.

"You scare me y/n" Benny says

"Thanks!" I say "so Hayley is throwing a party tonight and we're going"

"Really!?" He says annoyed.

"Yep. See you there 'babe' " I say. He gives me a look. He's already fed up.

"See you there 'mi amor' " he says. I smile and walk off. He walks over to the diamond.

"What was that all about?" Yeah yeah asks.

"She was just asking if we had any homework over the summer." Benny replies

"Why would she ask you?" Asks ham.

"Because we're in the same grade, you dorks."

"Ohh yeah" they say. Everyone carries on playing.

I'm walking back to my house when I see Philips. He walks over to me

"I heard you have date to Hayley's party" he says

"Yep. I heard you're dating Hayley now, that was quick."

"Whatever. Who's your date?" He asks. He looks eager to know.

"You'll have to wait and see" I say. I carry on walking to my house. I can hear him complaining to himself. I laugh.

A few hours later, yeah yeah comes home.

"The new kid wasn't even that bad!" I say.

"Yeah yeah but he's not as good as anyone else on the team."

"Well he will be soon" I say

"I hope so" he walks off to his room.
