Idyllia chuckled at the message from her phone before putting it in her back pocket. She held the basket handle in between her fingers as her eyes wandered off onto the shelves holding her favorite snacks.
She kept walking down the aisle in a slow place, not paying attention to her surroundings because she was just too stuck on choosing which snack to buy. Idyllia reached her hand over to the bag of chips, tip toeing as high as she could until she saw another hand take the bag of chips for her.
She looked over to the boy who stood beside her, her eyes roaming around his face and taking in his features. "You're so pretty!" the sudden compliment had him taken back, wondering what she said was actually what she said. "Oh, thank you..?" he said, almost questioning her words while he handed her the bag of chips as she smiled.
"It's no problem! And thank you!"
Idyllia then placed the bag into her basket before walking past him and choosing snacks from down the aisle. "Sunwoo, I didn't see any good cereals." the boy heard his friend say, turning his head towards him. "Really?" Sunwoo said, still in his daze as he glanced at her before walking out the aisle.
"Did you look hard enough, Eric?" Sunwoo chuckled to Eric while he glared at him. "Did you look hard enough, Eric?" he mocked him. "Of course I did! I was there for a good twenty minutes!"
"We've been here for five.."
"Same thing!" Eric sighed as they entered the breakfast aisle again. "Who was that girl?" Eric asked him, watching his friend shrug his shoulders. "Don't know, she was just struggling getting chips." Sunwoo laughed quietly while Eric rolled her eyes. Eric then saw the girl come in the aisle with a phone by her ear, seemingly talking to someone on call.
"Mom, they have the cheap kind.." she said, leaning forward as the two boys glanced over to her. "Get it? The box is kinda small and i'm not eating Liana's food for another day. Plus we're home until Wednesday soo..two boxes?" Idyllia kept her eyes on the shelves, not noticing the boys looking at her.
"One box? Okay! Okay! One box!" Idyllia said as she grabbed two cereal boxes and put them in her basket. "Yeah i'm going to go pay now, see you home." she then left the aisle, leaving the two quiet. "Well she's pretty." Eric said, his eyes averting towards the last box of his favorite brand and immediately putting it in the cart.
