Once I got to the Firehouse house with Papa Chris, Matt, and Drew, Gabby and Brett came up and asked about the new car in our driveway and Papa tells us why it is there.

Whos Buggy is that? asked Gabby

Boden's out first half of shift. We got some chief named Mullins. said Papa Chris

You know him? asked Matt

I heard he was a bear. said Papa Chris as Matt gave me and Drew a look. We then walked into the Firehouse and put our things away before going into the conference room and I didnt see Kelly. So I got worried, so I sent him a quick text and no answer. That doesnt happen that much. I sat by Uncle Mouch as Drew sat by Eddie and Brett.

Is that everyone? As I always tell the men serving under me said Mullins as Kelly came in and he stood by Matt. Mullins looked mad and Kelly looked a worn out.

As I was saying, on my watch, if you're not 15 minutes early, you're 15 minutes late. The shift before you appreciates your punctuality, as I'm sure you do the shift that follows. Yes, Sir. we all said and I kept looking back at my Little Brother. Uncle Mouch saw me doing this and started to tap Morse code into my leg. I then tap back.

As Mullins was talking I spaced out and I didn't hear anything he said. I then remember Matt saying that Kelly had to take Harrison and Kyle into school. I got worried and tried to focus on Mullins talking but it didnt work. I then felt tapping on my shoulder.

Dary, come on Baby you need to go help Squad clean up Squads Rig.-tapped Papa Chris

Once we left Papa Chris went to help Engine, while Uncle Mouch went to help Truck. I then went to help Squad and I saw Harrison and Kyle under our table. Capp then gave them some chips and walked off. I then started to help Squad out. As we cleaned the rig Chief Mullins came over and Kelly walked over to him as he signed to Kyle.

Why were you late and dont lie. said Mullins

I had to take my children to school and Daycare. One of them had a panic attack and didnt let go and the second one had an Autistic Meltdown when I was leaving. said Kelly
