Chapter 5 : The Second Conflict

It was morning. I woke up feeling more tired than usual. Must’ve been because I couldn’t get much sleep last night. As I woke up I heard a loud snore. Not so surprising that it was coming from my roommate. I thought of turning her over but there was a possibility of her flipping out on me so I didn’t do it. I got out of the room and went to the living room of our dorm. There were around 10 girls in that room having a conversation between each other. I stared for a bit before turning towards the large kitchen this place had, I went there and opened the fridge looking for something to eat as breakfast. I took some pudding and sat down to eat it. It was a tasty one and I fully enjoyed it. As I was eating a girl kept screaming in the other side of the room. I thought it had something to do with all these game amd abilities and she must’ve been scared about that. I got up and walked over there to check on what happened. I was indeed disappointed after what I saw. Disappointed at the girl that is. She saw a spider. I was gonna do something about it but another girl threw a slipper at it. They picked it up with a paper towel. As I was turning around I bumped into something soft. Apparently these screams had woken up my roommate. She came over and yelled at us even though I had nothing to do with it. «what do you all think you’re doing over a small little bug like that! You woke me up for Christ’s sake!» as she kept lecturing everyone I returned to the kitchen and finished my pudding. When I did I overheard someone say that they wanted to order something. I was surprised since I thought this place as mroe of a prison. I went ahead towards them and asked them. «what’s this you’re talking about? You can order stuff around here?» to which they simply responded with «yeah of course. We make our orders and we get whatever we want! Best part is that we don’t need to pay much. We pay using points from our victories». «points from victories?» I asked. Apparently we get points from our victories and that seemed nice. They showed me how to see my points and how to use them. I had 20.000 points. From what I could understand 2 points were equal to 1 US dollar. I gave it some thought because I’m certain there was something I wanted to buy. I decided to get. After a little while I decided to get something I never would have bought as a guy to avoid judgement. Even for girls it’s a little weird but far less! I bought... CAT EARS. They came surprisingly quick to our door and I was pleased with my purchase so I wore them immediately. Then I look behind me and I see many if them staring at me, maybe I did a mistake, but they approached me and instead of judging me they asked to out them on too. Well all of them actually asked for this apart from one. Hagatsuma-San. She must not be into cat related stuff. I left my cat ears to my room after an hour or two and returned to the living room interacting with everyone. It was a better interaction than what I originally thought it would be. But it was still a bit of a hassle because of one or two people there… I decided after a while to return to my room. What I saw almost made me laugh as I tried my best not to. Hagatsuma Kumiko was wearing the cat ears I had. She looked at me with a serious look as she took them off and placed them on the counter. She then came close to me and threatened to kill me if this was found out by anyone ever. I was scared so I agreed. I believe that in my entire staying here I wouldn’t have experienced something as weird as this ever again. She was holding me by the collar of my shirt as an announcement happened. A small machinery started to speak. It probably was some sort of intercom. It said the following things :
-Intercom- «Dorm room F44 for the next competition you will partner up with your roommate. The losers this time will be automatically killed instead of having to follow an order. And as you probably understood from it. Half the people this time will be eliminated, have fun! Ah shit finally the announcement is over. Her John got any rakija?» «mate the intercom is still on…» « oh shit» and then it went off.
My roommate was looking at me slightly disgusted by what she had to do. She stopped grabbing me from my collar and both her and I just awaited directions on where the challenge will happen. We awaited for a while before a few men dressed in black gave us a small device. They informed us that it has a digital map of the area and to where we have to go to. I took the device because Hagatsuma-San told me she didn’t feel like reading the map. Her face said otherwise I think she simply cannot read a map. As I stared into the map I understood why it was difficult for her to follow. It was unnecessarily complex with multiple routes, floors, stairs, etc. But even through that I understood it quite quickly. I took myself and Hagatsuma-San to the location. When we arrived there was a small door. I didn’t get it was a small one until I saw that Hagatsuma-San was too tall for it. I remembered that I was also far shorter than before because of my female body. But that didn’t apply to Hagatsuma-San. From what I could tell she must’ve been around 193cm tall. That’s when I got that the door was only 180cm tall… I miss my height. When we entered we saw two people. A girl and a boy. They came to us and said :
-Akane- «hello my name is Suzushiro Akane and he is Harry Jørgensen!»
-Harry- «nice to meet ya… I guess…» he didn’t seem like he was in a mood.
Then Hagatsuma-San spoke
-Kumiko H- «enough with the compliments let us choose the game you scumbags»
-Akane- «is that so? Very well then. Let’s have some fun~»
