Have I ever been this happy before?

I dont remember. I guess it is a No. I have never had much desires. Be an achiever? No. Travel around the world? No. Make my fellow people proud? No. Get married? No. Have a family? No. My happiness never depended on having desires and fulfilling it. Little things made me happy. I didn't need people to make me happy. A strong coffee, feel good books, rain filled roads, old music, clouds, thaen mittayi, white hue, tamil poems used to make me feel happy.

But now, a certain person is the reason of my happiness. I have never thought night walks and dancing in the rain would make me feel happy until he came in picture. Not the stars above, Not the splashing rain thats hitting my face, Not the moon that is hiding behind the cloud, Not the yellow street lights, Not the wet empty roads but him. He is the one who is making the elation flourish in every part of my body.

He pulls me more closer, crushing my fingers with his. Its as if my fingers has finally found its place. They seem rightful and perfect embraced within his. My one hand rested on his chest. The fingers on his other hand grazed my bare waist. The rain wasn't heavy. It was mild drizzle. We swayed side to side dancing to no music.

He touched his forehead with mine. His nose touching mine, his lips inches away from mine. I gasped when he pulled me closer that my chest was pressing against his. I gazed over his visage. His brown orbs that were boring into mine, his trimmed beard with water droplets, his inviting lips. I controlled the urge to pull him down and kiss him hard.

"Paat eh illama aadit irukom" he said with a laugh.

I peeled my eyes off his lips and stared his eyes "apo oru paatu paadunga" I said.

"Ethuk paata kola panrathuka?" He said and laughed again.

"Athu ennamo unmai thaa" I bit my lips "Aana enakaga.. Namakkaga?"

"Unakaaga?" He smiled and thought for a sec "Iruvathu kodi nilavugal kudi Penmai aanatho en ethirae vanthu punnagai seiya kann kusutho" he uttered those words rather than singing.

"Aahaan" I laughed.

"Kulaikindra thangangal kannangal aagatho Nelikindra vilrendu
Puruvangal aagatho" he shook his head to the rhythm.

I nodded my head teasingly.

"Nooru kodi pengal und un pol yaarum illaye" he cupped my left cheek with his one hand letting go of my fingers.

"Apdiyaa" I teased him clutching his Tshirt.

"Aanal kanni unthan kangal kangal mattum kaana villayee" he pouted.

"Yaar sonna?" I threw my hands around  his neck pulling him closer.

"Un kanavanin thavippugalai kaana mudiyatha paarvayatra penn thane neer?" He said and sighed.

I burst out into laughter throwing my head back. "Apdi enna thavikringa sir uh?"

He didn't say anything but kept staring me. I raised my eyebrows. He shook his head.

"Unnai marbodu anaika thavikrathu en karamgal" he said.

"Atha thane pannit irukinga?"

"Unnai parthukonde irukka thavikrathu en kangal"

"Athayum thaa panit irukinga" I giggled.

"Unnai muthamida thavikrathu en ithalgal" he said more intensely inching my face.
