"I'm sorry, Lord Chong, due to your recent provocations, the military has decided to assign you three months of social service. I must remind you that your record is already quite 'colorful'. It's best not to add any more unnecessary incidents, as it could affect your future partner matching results."

A military official handed a temporary identity card to the nonchalant red-haired male Zerg in front of him, pointing towards the medical building across the way. "You should be familiar with the procedure; just go report there."

The red-haired male Zerg said nothing, simply pinned the temporary ID to his collar, and strode towards the medical office, looking rather defiant.

Each male Zerg is a treasure of the Empire, especially an A-level male Zerg. After reaching adulthood, they are supposed to be matched with several beautiful and well-bred female Zergs chosen by the Empire and then live comfortably at home. However, Chong was an exception.

This A-level male Zerg had gone on a trip with family members a few months ago, but the spacecraft malfunctioned, resulting in the deaths of both his parents in an explosion. He was the only one who survived.

At that time, the spacecraft was already engulfed in flames, and the one in charge of the rescue was General Na Jin. He risked his life to save Chong from the flames but was accidentally injured in the explosion and could never fully recover.

Since then, the fates of these two Zergs seemed to be intertwined.

Under the scorching sun, female military personnel on the training ground were resting under the shade, preparing for the next assessment. When they saw a familiar red-haired male Zerg carrying a broom to the training ground, they began to gossip and whisper:

"Look, it's Lord Chong again. Why has he been punished by the military again?"

"I bet it's because of General Na Jin. This is already the eighth time."

"General Na Jin is so lucky to have such a devoted male Zerg. He shouldn't avoid Chong and should have taken the initiative. A-level male Zergs are hard to find."

The Na Jin they referred to was a handsome female Zerg, standing alone in a secluded corner, arms crossed, watching the training teams in the distance. The brim of the hat shadowed his eyes but not the scars on his cheek.

For a female Zerg, having their appearance ruined is undoubtedly a huge blow because no male Zerg would marry a disfigured female Zerg.

Na Jin, however, was unpretentious, standing tall and upright in his military uniform, confident and graceful. He didn't care about the scars on his face or what the male Zergs thought. His general's rank badge was proof of his achievements, not his appearance.

Chong almost immediately spotted Na Jin. Pretending to sweep the ground, he discreetly approached him. However, his bright red hair was too conspicuous, and Na Jin noticed him after just a few steps.

Na Jin frowned unconsciously, "You're here again."

Chong seemed indifferent, shrugged, and replied, "I got into a fight with a few other male Zergs and ended up here."

Na Jin stared at him, his deep brown eyes momentarily calm as a dark night due to the lighting, "Forgive me for being frank. If you have too many demerits on your record, it will be hard for you to match with noble female Zergs. You should be more restrained."

Chong raised an eyebrow and retorted, "I don't like noble female Zergs. I want to marry a commoner female Zerg. Is that not okay?"

Na Jin was from a commoner background. Upon hearing this, he subconsciously looked at Chong, who was staring directly at his face. He then turned his head away, not saying anything, and continued to watch the training ground, lost in thought.
